The next day Daehwi really did showed up, but it's very evident that the latter didn't got a proper sleep as his eyes looks lifeless and deep eye bags are pretty much obvious on his face. Once Daehwi sat on his own seat he placed his arms on his desk before resting his head on top of it, closing his eyes.
Meanwhile Seungmin, Jeongin, Lia and Yeon who knew what happened can only look at him without saying anything because they don't want to disturb him, he can really use some sleep right now because even if he don't say it it's very obvious that he's tired.
Upon noticing his classmates also starts to wonder and wants to ask him but that will only woke him up, so the other four tried their best to stop them from asking, luckily they won't ask any further questions and just nod before going away.
Just by the unusual sight, the whole class is really quiet today. Usually everyone are running around or creating loud noises, a teacher even had to scold them before they behave, you can even spot someone fighting or messing around at the board but today they feel like not doing those things. They just sat at their own seats as they wait for their teacher.
They might be hyperactive teenagers but they do knew how to be understanding and empathic.
Because of how quiet their section is, some students and teachers who pass by their room begun to question the certain atmosphere because everyone knew that they are those type of students that are always messing around even if they are in a high section but not today though. Today no teacher's yelled at them, no upper class students are reclaiming and no principal was called. Just a quiet room with quiet students, you can even mistaken the classroom empty.
Even their adviser, the music teacher who gave them the project didn't get any complaints today so she even go and check the room out. When she got there she can only saw some staring out the window, some are on their phone's and some are reading but what stands out the most is her five students. Daehwi is sleeping, Yeon is looking at the latter full of concern, Seungmin is chatting Jisung about this, Lia is trying to comfort his friend and Jeongin can just sigh.
No fighting or anything today? She thought to herself wondering what might have happened.
As much as she doesn't want any complaints coming from other people because of her class she also want them to look this depressing, all of them look very problematic even if only one from this class was actually having some deep problems.
So she sighed, before leaving funny that no one did noticed her even if she's by the door
Guess I have to move the performance on another day she thought to herself
After their adviser slash music teacher left, their history teacher came, yes they are doing history early in the morning. When she entered the room she also felt the unusual atmosphere. She walk in with furrowed eyebrows before placing the things she brought on the teacher's table.
"Did something happened?" She asked concerned about them which grab everyone's attention
"It's nothing ma'am we're just quiet so he can rest" Seungmin said before pointing at Daehwi making the teacher nod
"But what did happen to him though?" She asked while looking at the boy
"His father got admitted to the hospital yesterday and we don't think he got enough sleep or rest but still went to school" This time Yeon answered
"Is that so?" The teacher said knowing that it must be hard for the boy
"Can we do pairings silently then, and whoever was paired with him can just inform him later" she said and everybody nods
She started appointing the pairs and it's almost similar to the pairings in the project for music class. Lia and Chaeryoung, Seungmin and Jeongin, lastly Daehwi and Yeon.
"So the agenda for this activity is to present me a research about the certain country you guys would be assigned to andyou will write it all here, you'll be passing this tomorrow" she said before distributing a four paged papers to answer with the certain country on the very top of the paper.
"What did you guys get?" Yeon asked Lia silently, considering that there is a sleeping boy beside him
"Japan, how about you guys?" She asked back making the girl look back at the papers she got
"Italy" she said
"Oh you got Italy, we'll be doing Mexico" Seungmin said making the two girl nod with the information
"Okay guys, are we all clear now?" The teacher asked once they are all settled
"Yes ma'am" they said but not too loud
"Okay, you guys can start answering or researching now, i'll be just be here watching you all if you have question just come forward" she said and everyone nodded before doing their own business
As for Yeon, she looks at Daehwi first before staring at the paper their teacher gave.
You have to rest so i'll do this on my own for now she said on her mind before taking out a book working on whatever she can finish before the boy wakes up.
