(Y/n) sniffed as her belongings were now in the woods. Poorly made tents were now her house. She couldn't take food with her. She had no probable icebox!

Cole was leaning on a nearby tree. Taking a puff of smoke as he watched poor (y/n). He hated the town for what they did, but he didn't blame them.  How could he?
They were just scared shitless. even years after the vampire war, people just had trust issues. People would do anything to get a vampire to leave them alone... even if they had to sacrifice someone.

Cole took another big puff of smoke. Even with so few vampires now... reaper still takes the cake. Jesse put the cigarette in his fingers before talking. "I'm gonna go for a stroll. Jack stay with (y/n)."

Jack, who had not left her side just gave a node. The cowboy lifted himself from his leaning poster and started to walk into the forest, back to (y/n)'s house.

Cole say down in the guest room and waited for the window to open. He was going to have a talk, even if it killed him.

Hours passed, and reaper has yet to show up Cole smothered his
3th cigarette. He was about to head out since reaper wasn't going to show up. A large force had suddenly hit the cowboy, hit hat flying off as he rolled on the floor.

"About fucking time!" The cowboy sneered at the smoke that was forming by reaper. He got up with another roll. This time a good distance from reaper.

"Are you happy with what you did huh? Are you happy with what you're doing to (y/n)?!"
The cowboy quickly aimed his gun when reaper grabbed his.

A low and deep laugh came from the vampire as the two circled one another in the guest room.

"I was protecting her."

"Really? Wow, cuz she sure feels protected about being kicked out of her house and town!!!"

Reaper froze. It's like he was processing what he had just heard. Of course, he had noticed this guest room was empty. Reaper just thought Jesse and Jack had something to do with it.

Quickly turning into mist and teleporting reaper was now in the hallway. Empty...

"Hey I'm still talking to you--" Cole came running out to shoot reaper, but before he could the vampire had enough of this game.

Reaper grabbed his arm, twisting it in a way it dislocated his shoulder before slamming him to the floor. it was a loud pop.

"Alright cowboy, your gonna tell me what happened and where she is!" His red eyes were glowing with rage.

Cole tried to use his hand to get up but screamed when reaper stomped on it with full force. There was definitely a cracking sound as Jesse yelled.

"Answers question before I get bored!" His gun was to the cowboy's head.

Cole, now in pain, huffed in annoyance. Gabriel was much stronger now. Of course, he was strong before he became the vampire king but this was something new.

"Your little stunt is what happened. The town kicked her out because of you! You killed people!!" Cole yelled as reaper stomped his foot on his back before knocking Cole out.

"Then... they will pay...." his laugh echoed. Reaper wanted revenge for his (y/n), and like he is known for, he wouldn't leave anyone alive in this town. Reaper left Cole there for who knows how long. When he woke up, he knew it was almost morning. He struggled to get up. One hand was broken, and the other arm was dislocated.

"Son of a bitch." He muttered
Cole sneered and cried in pain when he finally got up.

The front door was wide open as he stumbled out. A smell instantly punched him in the face. The smell of iron was strong and pungent. No... he didn't!

limping, Cole found one dead body on the streets after the next. Reaper had done a lot of damage on Cole, but it was nothing compared to what used to be the whole town.

Cole knew Gabriel had a temper at times, seems like it got worse when he died.
"Oh fuck." Cole gaged seeing horror after horror.

Cole wanted to look for survivors, but after seeing a human heart on the ground he gave up. He knew right then and there, he was the only one.
All because reaper found out...
Jesse had thought he knew...
This was a mistake.... he had to get to (y/n) and Jack right now!

Jack held the sleeping (y/n) by the fire as the night ticked by. Cole was gone for a long time...
Jack sighed just leaning back. He was probably blowing off steam but Jack prayed he didn't do anything stupid.

Hours passed again. The fire had died down. Jack huffed. It was time to move (y/n) to her tent.

Carefully holding her. He walked to one of the make-shift tents with some of her stuff in it. Carefully laying her down on some bedding he sighed. This was not going well... he would go out and look for Jesse but that would leave (y/n) alone.

Jack just hoped he would be back soon. Trying to take a step out of the tent, his foot hit a small box.

He lifted it up to move it out of the way. It was already opened, and Jack knew she kept letters in there. When he saw a letter sticking it he opened it to fix it so he could close the box, but he froze.

"Dear Gabriel...." he read softly.
(Y/n) knew Gabe?!
He pulled the letter out and started to read softly.

"....It seems my first letter had accidentally found my way to you instead of my older brother. However reading your reply was wonderful, so I decided to be your pen pal.... "

Jack stopped reading and glanced at (y/n). She had a family?

Jack quickly put this letter down and looked at all the letters. There were ones from her and Gabriel.... each one long and having a story.

Jack narrowed his eyes. How did she not recognize Gabriel as reaper then?!  He kept digging until there was a much shorter postcard.... it was a killed in battle letter...

This puzzled Jack more. Where they close? Only family was allowed to get that unless.... this was about her brother or reaper.....

Jack puts the box down as he sat down pulling letter after letter.

"....dear (y/n), I was surprised to find a letter addressed to me. I don't have any letters at this time of war. Well more like it showed up in my stuff. I wouldn't normally reply to letters that are not meant for me... but I'm afraid your brother can no longer write back to you...." Jack stopped reading there.

Jack remembered what happened. He knew what happened to their sibling. There was a massacre. Only so many got out.

Jack pulled out another letter, yet again reading one section.

"....dear Gabriel, even if I do not know you, your words are slightly comforting. I was devastated hearing about losing my brother... but I'm happy someone told me...."

Jack out the letters down.
"They never meet face to face....." Jack could not read anymore. He put them all back. He had to think about what he just found out.

Jack walked out of the tent and ran a hand through his white hair. Reaper didn't just randomly picked her.... reaper got to know her over mail.

Jack cursed loudly seeing the sun slowly peek out. He didn't get any sleep... before he could go to his own tent he heard Jesse yell for him and looked over seeing the cowboy limp his way over in pain.

"What the hell happened?"
Jack whisper yelled

"Reaper happened... killed the whole town...."

Jack froze. This wasn't the first time reaper had killed a whole town.... but how did Jesse survive?
