Sighing Hermione continued reading her book, it was about horcruxes and death. She wanted to be sure Voldemort was dead. And that he wouldn't come back this time.
"Mione, you should really stop reading that" Charlie sighed and sat down next to her. The war had ended just over a year ago. They'd all finished school and were staying at the burrow for a while.
"I just want to make sure he's gone" she answered and rested her head on his shoulder.
"He is, I promise" he smiled and kissed the side of her head, she smiled lightly.
"I know he is but I just want to be sure" Charlie nodded.
"Okay just don't get to deep into that stuff, that's how Voldemort started out" Hermione rolled her eyes and Charlie chuckled.
"Oh all right, let's go to dinner" he smiled and the two sat down at the table with the rest of the Weasleys, Remus and Tonks. The next day Hermione finished the book but one particular passage kept crossing her mind.
The killing curse is unbreakable unless the person was willing to die to protect another. Also whilst someone pay pass through the bridge of death, they can return if the will to bring them back is good and strong.
From what she understood Sirius and Lily could come back to life. But if she failed in bringing them back she could mess up the whole space time continuum and destroy the world. But if she could bring them back Harry would be happy. Wouldn't he? If she could bring them back why shouldn't she?
"Honey what's on your mind?" Charlie asked as he crawled into bed beside her. She sighed and turned to face him, his red hair fell to his shoulders.
"I think I've found a way to do something. Something big, but if I mess it up I could destroy the world" Charlie looked at her wide eyed.
"Well whatever it is I'm sure it's worth a shot" she chuckled and felt his lips touch the bridge of her nose. A smile grew across her lips.
"I love you" she said, he smiled back at her.
"Love you two princess"
