Ch-9 Enough Running

"Don't you dare say a word now and just focus on escaping!!"

"You don't have to scream, monkey!"

"I am shouting, not screaming, rudey!!!"

Hundreds, no thousands of candidates, with their weapons and gadgets were chasing 4 of us. We, on our hoverboards, were trying to escape from the East region as fast as possible, but this never ending forest was seemingly as big as a whole state.

Those hoverboards had foot fixers, so that we wouldn't fall from them. But the speedsters among the candidates like the guy with loudspeaker, was using supersonic jet.

How the hell does he know to fly a jet plane?!?!!?

There was also some other boys and girls who were trailing us and using us as target practice.

I first tried to talk with them all, but things just.. didn't go well.

"You know what, damn you Saumya."

"Damn you too Mr. Almighty."

1 hour ago.....

"What are you all waiting for? Is he coming or not?"

Announcer guy was shouting like a college bully waiting for his burger and shouting on the waiters for being late.

He was looking like somewhat 20. wearing a t-shirt pyjamas combo, like a guy coming from his gym, as his physique also showed. He was also wearing a cool set of orange sunglasses.

Saumya was clearly more shocked than anyone else and somewhat feared. As our eyes met, her rudey form activated and shrugged while turning her face on the other side.

Some people came from the treeline and started talking with the announcer guy.

Maybe his teammates..

After talking to them for a minute, he started shouting again.

"We will give you 15 minutes. Do what you can. But you just can't escape from here. We have east region's best candidates in our alliance. We will defeat you anyways, Mr. Almighty."

He vanished in the treeline with all of them.

"It seems they are also not ready yet. " Saumya spoke first.

"But they just dropped the surprise element. They must want to do something really big." The big boy spoke.

"I think, they have the fear of the unknown. They want to find out how Arjun looks, and then attack on us focusing on him only." Anya wisely said.

"They are making something or.. they are contacting that old man, Agbelo." Saumya suggested, surprisingly calm.

"Right, sis. We better think something or we will be doomed."

"So, what's the plan, Mr. Almighty?"

"Stop this almighty. There is some mistake in the software of the screens. You saw me fighting with the goblins."

"Yup, I saw you. So pathetic."

"That was the first time I was holding a sword and fighting with some creatures. You expected better from me, rudey."

"I expect you to show your power you are currently hiding, and take us out of this situation we are facing because of you."

"Stop you both. Do every teenager in your age becomes mad and weird like you?" The big boy said, and looked intimidating with his physique for the first time.
