"It looks human." One of the men say as Jack gestures for Makepeace to move forward.
He glances at me and raises an eyebrow as he looks down at my hands, a small smirk of amusement flashes over his features before it's gone. "It's safe for you to let go of me now."
"Oh uh— I'm Sorry." I mutter embarrassed as I let go quickly but continue to follow closely behind him.
Honestly, it's probably safest beside him or Teal'c. Up ahead of us we find a small group of the attackers. They look human, but more regressed, before the now humans.
"Daniel, what are they?" Jack asks him quietly.
The scientist shifts a little uncomfortably as he answers. "Well, they don't look completely Homo Sapien. Ah, the larger brow ridge would imply Homo Erectus but then again they'd have canine teeth. Ah, could be Australopithecus but the brow ridges would be less prominent." He rambles on.
With amusement laced in his voice Jack asks him "You don't know, do you?"
As he shifts awkwardly Daniel respond back, his voice put out. "No."
I cover my mouth as I try to hold back my giggle causing them both to look at me and raise an eyebrow. Swallowing down my giggle as I try to take a deep breath.
When I look away from them I see a lone female by the group of males. But she's.. well, she seems different compared to the others.
"She looks different." I whisper then as I point at her with a frown, clothes were on her body. Wasn't she newly turned at this point or something like that?
Sam nods on the other side of Daniel when some of the males grab her forcefully and she screams. I move to leap over the log in front of us when Jacks hand wraps around my hip, holding me in place while shaking his head at Sam.
"It's suspected that in prehistoric times that was how the males always had sex. Forcibly, the strongest male gets to mate. That's survival of the fittest." Daniel says, his voice sounding as if he was explaining something from a book. Which he probably was in a way.
"It's rape." Sam and I say in unison as I try to push O'Neill's arm off of me, only for him to tighten his grip.
"Let go." I tell him in anger, my voice quiet as his arm quickly wraps around my waist completely. As Sam opens her mouth to protest with me I continue in a harsh whisper. "We can't just—"
"Shh." Jack says quietly near my ear as he glances down at me and I reluctantly become silent, pressing my lips together in frustration as my attention turns away from the situation.
Then rocks start flying at us again. "Where are the rocks coming from?" Daniel asks curiously, mild annoyance in his voice as we begin to glance around in the dark forest.
Jack turns me slightly to the side so that I'm out of the way as he responds to the scientist. "There."
I see Teal'c standing off to the side prepared for whatever comes as the figures that are standing around covered in white continue to throw rocks at the Primitive humans. Honestly, Teal'c is a total badass.
Turning to the man referred to as Makepeace, Jack O'Neill begins to give out orders. Quickly he lets go of me as I follow behind him as we maneuver through the dark woods to the Right as SG3 goes Left.
Showing up behind the people covered in white a member of the SG3 stands behind them and holds up his gun while shouting a warning at them "Don't move."
The people covered in white frozen in place at the mans words just as Jack made his way towards them confidently. "All right, hold your fire."
"Get away, lower your weapon." Daniel urges with his hands to the other SG group when they didn't follow the command given.
