(Mr Spock... headmaster POV)

Throughout his long years of existence. The headmaster had never witnessed anything like this.

He had been instructing the new students, the basic mode of communicating with their gifts. And since they were all new to it, he had to use some of his gifts to help them channel theirs.

It is a basic requirement to function effectively. And every warrior must learn to do that. But it was exceptionally hard to do, especially trying it for the first time.

But staring at the human girl right now, all he believed was proved wrong. He was certain she had no gift. The gift elder already cleared that fact.

And also, looking at every member of the class with the glowing colors of their auras staring back at him, in the form of shining light on either, red, dark blue, light blue, brown, green, white, orange, gold, purple.

But never has he seen a translucent color of aura before.
A silver almost transparent beam of light radiated through her, high and bright.

As he stared at her, he noticed that she was struggling with something, she kept flinching. And sweat dripped down her brow. Her expression was contorted into a tight frown. No, not only that, she looked panicked.

He extended his golden aura, towards her transparent ones with the intent of connecting, and finding out more about her.

But merely a slight touch of her aura, sent his own slamming back into him. He could only get a glimpse of what was happening to her. But what he saw, sent shivers down his back. The girl's mind was not with them, she was in a her own dream, and whatever dream it was, wasn't a good one for sure.

He dismissed everyone from the class, but asked her assigned guide, Sigil, to wait outside for her.

Going close to her, he could feel the presence of something he didn't know. The human girl wept silently, her tears and sweat already soaked her uniform.

He tried calling her multiple times and even shaking her, but it was fruitless. This time around, she was sobbing while gasping for air.

He sat still in front of her. Connected with his gift and sent a full been of energy, directed at her aura to strengthen it. He knew that the only way for her to come out of whatever it was that held her down, was to overcome it. He could do nothing but help her. He was scared for her, it has been a long while he felt the need to help someone. He was desperate.

As he directed his energy to her, he also absorbed her pain. It wasn't much to the point of unbearable, but for a human, it was much pain.

He looked at her aura, to see that it was strengthened, and her pale skin began to have color once again.

It wasn't long till she opened her eyes, and just for a brief second, instead of the brown orbs she had. He saw blue.

"Huh! What happened, the class ended already?" She asked.

"Oh god! I can't believe I slept through the class, I am so sorry, Headmaster, I didn't know. Am I in trouble?"

The headmaster could never admit it out loud, but he was glad she was back to herself.

"You are in so much trouble, Jay girl. After your lunch, we will meet at the garden for your punishment." Saying that he stood up, leaving the groaning girl in the class.

He hurried to the healers wing, already connecting to his friend's aura, and sending images of what happened to him.

On getting there, he was welcomed by the chief healer.

I find it difficult to believe what you sent to me. This girl has proved to be more intriguing that I imagined." The healer stated while he nodded, agreeing with him.

"Now the question remains, what is she? She has an aura of a human but at the same, she doesn't"

"Yes, but that isn't impossible. Witches also have something like that, Sorcerers have the auras of just humans. But the Elders are sure she has no Valkyrie gift.

But she has the same spark every Valkyrie has with the exceptions of the color. Her aura is colorless." He told the healer.

"This something I haven't come across yet, even normal humans have colors in their auras."

"I agree with you on that. But what I actually came here to discuss, is different.

The East dynasty was attacked once again. But this time around, no one was hurt and nothing went missing.
Only that, those that were attacked, can't seem to remember anything. And I mean anything. There memory was altered or taken. So we are back to where we started."

"What! How is that possible? But
how can someone's whole memory be taken?. Things are getting really bad."

"And with what the human did to the orb, we are back to where we started. There is just full pressure on everyone, especially the young prince."

"You are absolutely right, I will have to check up on him soon, to see how he is holding up."

"Now, we go back to the first plan. We proceed with the tournament as early as possible. That way, we can scout for a new secret weapon."

Sighing loudly, the healer spoke. Things are getting bad real quick. I just hope, it wouldn't be as bad as the last war. I don't think we would ever be ready for that again."

The headmaster couldn't help but agree with the healer, all they could do was hope, hope for a way out. Hope for a better future.

"I have to be on my way, I have training to get to." He said while the healer laughed.

They bid themselves bye, and the headmaster headed to the garden.
