Something felt too wrong, it wasn't only because she wanted me dead. There was this overwhelming danger in her presence, I wasn't scared of Anna, I was terrified of what reeled around her.

Her eyes changed to the darkest I had ever witnessed, she took slow strides to me, extending her claws.

"Remain calm Redder, you can deal with this."

I listened to Cicero, reminding myself that I won't die no matter what.

Think JJ, think. What was I going to do, I had to get out of this situation.

Screaming was not an option, or I would be dead before I am heard.

With her sharp claws, she sliced the air where my head once resided.

I fell to the floor with a racing heart.

Oh shit! This is happening right now.

Before I could fully process what had taken place her claws were buried in my ankle. The pain was so sharp that I didn't get the chance to scream. With her nails still stuck in my leg, I was hoisted.

My reflex took over, and with force, I sent a powerful kick with my second leg to the side of her face. She staggered around but didn't release her grip.

"You crazy fool!" She screamed.

Before she could do anything else, I used the same leg to hit her on the nose, spilling blood down my pants. She immediately released her grip on me but took a pinch of skin with her. Biting my lip to conceal my pain, I got up with a struggle and tried to sneak behind her and run out, but she caught me by the hair and smashed me to the hard toilet cubicle, breaking the door in the process.

I saw stars.

She came at me again grabbing my neck, she was going to strangle me to death if I didn't do something.

Feeling the area with my hand for anything that could be used as a weapon, I grabbed a piece of wood on the floor from the broken cubicle door and flattened it on her head. She immediately released me, picked up the wood, and brought it down heavily on my knee.

I screamed in pain, but had no time to sulk, she brought up the wood to continue her assault when my hand felt the toilet tank lid, and I picked it up. The wood was smashed into my biceps and the tank lid was brought down on her head.

The last thing she said before falling was "Do not ever be alone."

I was in shock, but it didn't last as long, because my pain overshadowed the shock. That's when the door opened and a surprised-looking Dean came in.

"What in the world happened here?"

"You left me alone, that's what happened," I replied.

I flattened my palms to the floor and tried to get up but immediately realized the impossibility. My legs and torso failed me, the pain doubled to a point I screamed and fell back to the floor.

"Shit," I heard him mumble before running to me.

I noticed the look he gave Anna, he didn't seem surprised, only furious.

"Is she dead?" I asked.

"No, but she will be."

"What? No, you are not killing her."

"Yeah, and you are going to stop me how?" Then he picked me up bridal style and left the building.

As much as I wanted to stop him, I knew I couldn't, my ribs hurt too much to keep arguing.
