I heard it loud and clear, it was a growl.
Oh my God, what have I got myself into?I took a step back, ready to high tail out of there.
Then I heard movements behind me,
Oh my God, it's behind me? I wanted to cry. There was a door in front of me, which was opened. So without a second thought, I bolted in.
In just a mili-second later, I realized my mistake, and I knew I was dead meat. Because I just entered into the lions den.
Growling at me, was a very, extra large black horse. I could estimate it was nine feet tall. It was very huge. And it had wings, long black wings. The winged horse sneered at me with its sharp razor like teeth.
I gulped in fear, I wasn't ready to die yet. How did I even get here, I only wanted to go to bed.
The winged horse roared at me, making me stumble to the ground. What the hell! Could horses roar? Now I was stupid, obviously, the once with wings could.
It wasn't coming close to me, neither was it moving away from where it was. I noticed, whenever it tried to move, it would sneer and move back.
It was as if it was chained. But looking around it, I noticed it wasn't chained.
I looked at its legs to see a black substance surrounding it on the floor. And one of its hinge legs was covered with the black substance.
It tried to leap towards me, but once again, it couldn't. And this time around I knew what was wrong. It was injured and it didn't look pretty.
It was at that moment I also realized something, something big. Even though I was scared to death, I didn't feel the tingles. It was either, my sixth sense was asleep or I wasn't it danger.
I stared at my fingers weirdly, what was going on. Then I heard a very loud thump. As I looked up, I saw the winged horse on the ground, I guess it couldn't stand any longer.
Now, it was a battle between common sense and JJ's sense. And you could guess who was winning.
Common sense told me to run away, while JJ sense told me to help the creature.
So I walked slowly to the horse, looking at it carefully and expecting it to jump at me.
It did nothing, only following my movement with its eyes. When I got to the leg with the injury, I crunched low, still looking at its eyes. And it still did nothing to me.
I took a brave moment to glance at the injury, and I gasp loudly. Oh My God! It was bad.
I touched it gently, but the horse flinched and sneered at me.
After inspecting the injury closely, I realized that there was something inside it. Whatever caused the injury was still in his leg.
But how was I going to get it out, when it kept flinching.
Just as I thought that, I loud bang echoed behind me. I jumped up frightened, only to come face to face with a very pissed off Dean.
"What in the Deity's name are you doing here," he asked with a raucous voice.
"Em-eh, I am eh," clearing my throat.
"I was strolling, and he, eh it needed my help. The horse I mean, it's injured, I was helping it."
I closed my eyes in prayers, hoping he wouldn't kill me. But I heard his footsteps coming close to me in a hurry. I opened my eyes slightly to see him drop a bag to my foot and go down to inspect the injury of the horse.
