Chapter Nine: Lovely First Date~

The sun was beginning to set over the city. All the students were anxious to get out of school. Why? Because it was the weekend!

Some students went to the dorms where they stayed. Some students even went home to their parents for the weekend. 

Todoroki was one of those who went to the dorms. He walked past the fountain in the back of the school building. He admired the sakura trees above him, as the blossoms began to slowly fall down onto him. It was a beautiful sight indeed. 

When Todoroki got to the dorms, Kaminari and Kirishima were talking in the common area. There were a few others but those two stood out the most. Todoroki ignored them and walked towards the elevator. He waited patiently, stepped inside the elevator and pressed the button that led to the 5th floor. He walked to his room, opened the door and stepped inside. He shut the door behind him. 

Today was his and Midoriya's first date. He wanted to look perfect so he left class quickly to have spare time. He searched through his closet, looking for a specific article of clothing. After about a minute, he found it. The shirt that he wore when he and Midoriya kissed for the first time. 

It was a turtle neck sweatshirt with long sleeves and small white lines running down the shirt. Perfect! Now he just needed to find pants to go along with it.

Todoroki just settled on a pair of loose jeans. He slipped them on and walked over to his mirror. He looked perfect. He took his phone and texted Midoriya.

Todo-kun: Hey Midoriya. You ready for me to come get you?

Izu: Yeah, I'm ready! Waiting for you~ <3

Todo-kun: Okay, I'll be there soon. <3

Todoroki put his phone in his pocket and reached for the bouquet of flowers that he bought Midoriya. He picked them up and walked out of his dorm. He got in the elevator and pressed the button that led to the 2nd floor. He stepped out and walked to Midoriya's dorm. He knocked on the door.

A moment later, Midoriya opened the door. Todoroki held out the flowers for Midoriya to take. Midoriya's face lit up. "Todoroki-kun! Thank you! They're so pretty," Midoriya squealed. Midoriya walked back into his dorm and placed the flowers in an empty vase.

"Alright! Let's go!," Midoriya said excitedly. They both walked out of campus and towards Midoriya's favorite restaurant. Todoroki had decided beforehand that this night should only be about Midoriya. They found a seat for two and sat down. A waitress soon came to serve them. She looked at Todoroki with a red face. 

"What can I get for you, sir?," the waitress asked Midoriya. Midoriya ordered Katsudon and water to drink. She then looked over to Todoroki. "What would you like, sir?~," she asked seductively, winking quickly. Todoroki was disgusted but didn't show it. He simply ordered cold soba and a water. The waitress nodded and sashayed away.

"That waitress was...very into you," Midoriya said when he noticed she entered the kitchen. Todoroki smiled lightly and took Midoriya's hand. "I only love you. Don't forget it. Please?," he asked as he caressed Midoriya's scars. 

Midoriya blushed softly and nodded. "I didn't forget. I love you too," he said happily as he placed his other hand on Todoroki's. A few moments later, the waitress came back. She put their food on the table and looked back at Todoroki. "Is there anything else I can get for you, sir?~," she asked him, completely ignoring Midoriya. Todoroki shook his head and the waitress walked away.

The two began to eat and talked as they did. Todoroki took some noodles in his chopsticks and held them towards Midoriya. The greenette smiled and put the noodles in his mouth. "Mmm!~ This is really good, Todoroki-kun!," Midoriya said happily. He fed Todoroki some Katsudon as well. When they were both done eating, Todoroki payed and they left. The sun had fallen and the sky was a lavender purple and a romantic pink.

Before he and Midoriya went back to the dorms, Todoroki took Midoriya to the park. They went on a short walk before heading back to U.A. Before they reached the dorms, Todoroki stopped Midoriya. He took both his hands and kissed him. Midoriya wrapped his arms around Todoroki's neck. The kiss lasted only a few seconds before they pulled away. Todoroki walked Midoriya back to his room.

"Tonight was great. I loved it," Midoriya said before he opened the door.

"I loved it too," Todoroki agreed. Midoriya kissed his cheek, said goodnight, and walked into his room. Todoroki smiled brightly and walked towards the elevator. Today had been one of the best days of his life.
