The bell rang and another day ended. Midoriya grabbed his textbook and placed it in his bag. Uraraka and Iida walked over to his desk. "Midoriya, do you want to grab some food outside of campus tonight? I heard there's a new ramen place near the park," Uraraka asked. Midoriya smiled and nodded. Todoroki came over soon after.
"Do you mind if I join you?," he asked the two. Iida and Uraraka nodded. The four of them walked out of the classroom. They immediately stopped in their tracks. Yaoyorozu was standing in the hallway with a crowd of people behind her.
"Alright, Midoriya. Let's settle this once and for all. Fight for his love," she announced. Immediately, the crowd began whispering, murmuring 'what' and 'this should be good.'
"Yao-momo, is this really the best-,"
"Don't tell me you're scared to face me, Deku! Come on, show me what you've got! Or else how do you think you deserve him?!," she yelled. Her face was full of rage. A bit more red than normal.
Midoriya stood there, his brain moving quicker than anything in the world. Yao-momo wanted to fight? Was she this committed to Todoroki-kun?
"Fine. But let's make this quick," Midoriya said, summoning One For All. The power coursed through his veins. Yaoyorozu ran at Midoriya, creating a punching glove from her arm. She attempted to punch Midoriya, but he quickly dodged. She lost her balance and tumbled to the ground.
Just as quickly, she bounced back up and jumped at Midoriya. He dodged and grabbed her before she fell. She turned and watched him run as far from her as the circle of people allowed.
"So what? You're going to keep running away? You're going to keep acting like he's yours?!," Yaoyorozu yelled at Midoriya.
"Look, I really don't want to argue over him. So let's just end this little rivalry and-"
Yaoyorozu ran up to Midoriya and punched him straight in the jaw. He felt One For All decease and Momo pulled him on the ground. She got on top of him and punched him like there was no tomorrow. Immediately, Todoroki stepped in and took Momo off of Midoriya. But then, her lipids sparkled. Something sharp appeared in her hand and she flung it at Midoriya.
Midoriya only felt what could described as a sensation of his skin being cut apart before the world faded to black.
