The best advice I can offer in this particular area is that you be kind to yourself. It's okay to acknowledge that maybe not everything in your story is perfect, but a lot of writing is done in one-sitting or in a spur of the moment episode of inspiration, so please be kind to yourself in knowing that you allowed yourself to get swept up in the art of your writing. There isn't a single piece of writing in existence that wasn't in need of workshopping or grammar check. I don't have the best grasp on grammar, but I own it.
Editing your work can be a stressful time, since you can sometimes feel like your work isn't matching the end result you pictured in your mind or you aren't satisfied with where your story is going. Just remember that your story will only feel boring to you since it came from you. You wrote it, looked over it a hundred times, and I promise you that your plot points are far more exciting and unexpected to your audience because they don't what's coming. You only feel as if the story isn't really moving because you know where it's going and you're in the process of writing it. Try and be kind and patient with yourself and remember that writing is a process, editing is just another part of said process.
Take your time, use whatever editing or grammar checking programs you need to, ask a friend to peer edit, and be as kind to yourself as possible. You are breathing life into a story that no one else has thought of, be proud of that and give yourself the acknowledgment and respect that you deserve as an artist and a creator. Or if you can't do that for yourself then I just want to say that I'm rooting for you! I know you have greatness within you and you are fully capable of doing anything and everything you put your mind to. Your writing is great and I am excited to see just how far you will take it with your edits, creating something that only you can create. Be proud of what you've done and what you have yet to do.
