CHAPTER V: A Beautiful Disaster

It's not the first day of classes so Jin still have a lot to comply since he's a new transferee and it's almost the end of the third quarter. That morning when Jael got ready for school, he discovered that Jin is one of his neighbor. He saw Jin walking out of a house near theirs. This curious and a bit nosy Jael sneaked a look into Jin's house to see what's inside or who is he living with. He shoved the curtain to see what's inside and saw nothing. Jin groped his pockets while walking, looked inside his bag, and then he knew that he forgot his earphones so he went back to his house since it's still pretty early and he's not that far yet. He saw someone looking in his house, the guy seemed more familiar as he we went closer, he then suddenly grabbed Jael's shoulder and shouted "Hoy!" Jael was so shocked that he accidentally hit Jin in the face and caused him to take few step backwards and to stumble because it was a pretty hard hit. Jin held his face and when Jael got close, he bursted out in laughter. Jael was worried about Jin but when he heard him laugh, he felt that it was vexing. "Are you alright?" Jael asked and help Jin stood up. "You deserve that" Jael whispered. "What did you say?" said Jin "Ah wala wala." *annoyed sigh* "Anong ginagawa mo? Ba't ka nasilip dyan?" Jin to Jael. "Ahhh" "Ehh" nervous response. "Kasi walang tao dito dati, so I went up to look if there's someone around" Jael added. "Hmmm. Since I haven't heard a single sorry coming from you, you owe me one now and I won't accept your sorry unless you do me a favor" said Jin. "Huh?" "I already helped you stand up, isn't that enough?" Jael to Jin. "Oh wow so is that how you apologize?" "Not to mention you were peeking in my house" confidently stated by Jin. "Meet me after class if you want to compensate." Jin added. "Ano bang choice ko?" mumbled Jael. "Hmm. Wala kang choice" Jin stated. "Since you're already here, why don't we go to school together?". What happened yesterday flashed back in the mind of Jael when they were being teased by their classmates. "Ah, hindi!" "Ughm... mauna ka na." nervous response from Jael as he started to turn red again and immediately left Jin in front of his house. Jin then smiled cause he figured that it sets Jael  uneasy when he's being teased with him. Jin grabbed his earphones and went to school walking since it's just a fair walking distance.

It's the start of their class and Jael started to notice few things in the room. Some girls act like it's still their first time seeing Jin, looking at the back every single minute and smiling at him. Jin on the other hand, doesn't even care about anything in his surrounding, either just listening to the teacher, listening to music or using his phone. Jael then started to think about what is this "favor" that Jin wants to ask him and it started to bug him. On the lunch break, Jin using his phone while listening to music, Jael asked. "Ano bang favor yung gusto mong gawin ko?". Jin did not act or respond in any way which slightly annoyed Jael. "Hey ano ba yung favor na yon?" he added with a little loudness. Still no response. "OY!" he shouted and then the noise in the room suddenly stopped and everyone started to look at him, he felt embarrassed and he added "...Carlos! Halika nga dito" He surely went out of the awkward situation but he felt irritated because he was ignored by Jin for like three times. "Oh bakit ka nasigaw? Ano meron?" Carlos rushing to Jael and asked. "Wala, balik kana sa upuan mo" Jael said to Carlos. "Siraulo ka talaga" said Carlos. It was their dismissal and he finally got to talk to Jin. Jin was walking in the corridor, Jael rushed to Jin because he seem to be going home already so as he went close, he shouted "Jin!" Jin stopped and turned his back to Jael that is rushing towards him and unfortunately, Jael tripped on something that resulted for him to fall on top Jin that caused them to drop resulting their lips to touch on another.
