CHAPTER VIII: A Little Drawback from Yesterday

It was Wednesday, their classes usually starts at 8 AM sometimes depending on what time is their first teacher is coming. It was around 8:10 AM when their teacher came, everyone was around except for Jael. Jin was a bit concerned on why Jeal is not yet around so he asked one of Jael's friend Carlo. *Jin poked Carlo in the back since he's seated in front of him "Hey, why is Jael not yet around?" "Lagi bang na absent yon?" Jin to Carlo. "Bakit mo tinatanong? Ikaw hA" *Carlo smirks *Jin smiles "Kidding hehe" "I don't know really." "He's late sometimes but he never skip classes" Carlo added. The class was so quiet that time and both is not aware that most of their classmates are listening to them. "Maybe he's just lat-" Jin. He haven't even finished what he was about to say because the class suddenly went "Yieeee!" "Sarap baaa?" "Ikaw haAAaa" when they saw Jael entering the classroom door. Jael was exhausted from running because he's late, perhaps because he played League all night that even his alarm is not enough to wake him up. "Everyone! Stop! What was that noise all about?" shouted their teacher. Someone in the room: "Maaam yung mag jowa po kaseee" everyone started laughing except Jael. He was annoyed because he's late and now everyone's teasing him again. Jin knew it, what happened yesterday was like a airborne virus that has already spread in the school. Jael went to his seat immediately and as he catch his breath, Jin asked "Bakit late ka?". Vexed Jael replied "None of your business" that set Carlo in shook *He's listening secretly. Because that response is very much not like the Jael that he knew. "Oh okay" said Jin. "I gotta ask you another favor later since you're being rude to me.". Carlo's thought: "Another favor? Hmmm. What favor? When did these guys talked?" Carlo being curious and nosy. "Hey hey enough with that favor thing, I don't owe you anything" Jael to Jin. "Just a little favor... pleaase?" *Jin pouting and acting cute to Jael. "Hey, stop that! It's cringing me" Jael's respond. *sigh "Fine, what is it mr.favor?" he then added. *Jin back to his poker face again "I'll tell you later". "So annoying" mumbled Jael. The class never passed without anyone teasing them, Jael being uncomfortable with it, straightly looks on anyone's eyes who is teasing them. "I need you to lend me your notes. I was pretty left behind with the topics and I need to catch up" Jin to Jael during the break time. "You would help me right?" He added. "Alright, as long as it's for your studies, it's fine" Jael to Jin. "Cool. Thanks.". "Pumunta ka nalang sa bahay mamaya kunin mo.". said Jael. "Ah, teka nga pala, pano mo nalaman kung saan bahay namin?". "Ahhh, ehh" *He can't say that he stalked him on his way home last Monday because it would raise Jael's suspicions about what he's planning to do. "Eh... nakita kase kita last time. Sunday maybe? You bought something to the store near my house exactly when I was about to stroll around the village to familiarize myself." Jin explained. "Okay okayy" Jael replied. "By the way, sabay tayo umuwi mamaya. Since malapit lang naman bahay mo." Jin to Jael. "Eh? Para san? Okay lang ako, I can walk by my own" said Jael. "Ehhh? Sayang naman. May ibibigay pa naman sana ako sayo, wag nalang pala" Jin brags. "Ehh? Talagaa? Ano yun?" Jael agitated reply. "Wala" *Said Jin with serious face on. "Sa Sabado ha? Be on time." he added. "Okaay" :v *Jael's literal facial expression. *Jin has nothing to give him anyway.
