Sam's POV

We started off running 6 laps around the track, I was done in 6 minutes, while the boys and girls were still running. I jogged at a reasonable pace, looking for my flash drive, around the field but ended up finding nothing. What the hell am I going to do? I need my flash drive, I NEED it! It's my ticket out of this town, and with a full scholarship! I'm sick of this place, and would do anything to get out!  I sighed and plooped down on the bench.

"Whoa! Is Sam done already?"

"Damn! She's so fast!"

"Why can't I be that fast?"

"Awww, 3 more laps? I'm screwed!"

"Aww, man! She beat us again guys! Let's go faster!"

"That beast! How the hell can she do it?"

"Sam, since you're done get a tennis racket and practice. We're playing matches soon."

"You got it,"I said and got my racquet, from my gym locker, a n six-two ncode Wilson racquet. I got a tennis ball and start hitting the ball up, and then switching to the other side. Man, I love tennis. I walked onto the court beside the track/football field and practice my serves, over and under. For some reason I'm not good at under hand serves, though some say it is much easier than an over hand. I continue to practice until some one came and we played a practice match together. It was some cheerleader. I think her name was Britany or something with a 'B', but she's really nice, and blond, and pretty.

"Oh my gosh Sam! That was a really good game! You have gotten really good!"she smiled, sweat dripping down her make up less face.

"No, you're the one that's getting better!"I said dodging her name, "lat time you could barely return a ball, now you came play a full practice match." She smiled at me.

"Thanks, your little show earlier, was really funny. I didn't expect someone like you to say something so...juicy!"she waggled her eyebrows.

"Please, Sarah asked for it. She told me to say it." I defended myself. Knowing that Britany can see through my white lie.

"You know just as well as I do, that Sarah meant YOU, not her. That YOU slept with Eli Erikson lat night, not her. But hey, it's a loophole."

"Loopholes baby, loopholes. Gotta love 'em. So you still studying to become a lawyer?"I asked. Britany wanted to be one since Sophomore year.

"Yeah, it's difficult, but I'm getting there. I'm still waiting for the acceptance letter to Hardvard."

"Ooo, Ivy League."

"You have no place to talk Sam! What about you huh? Did Yale or Princeton send you an acceptance letter lil Miss Straight A since 1st Grade." I felt my cheeks warm a little, damn, she got me there.

"Aha! You blush, soo you did get it, didn't ya?"she said elbowing me as we made our way inside.

"Only to Yale...still waiting for Princeton to make my decision." I said.

"Oh, boo-hoo. You aimed for two Ivy Leagued colleges. I'm surprised you didn't aim for all!"

"Shut up Britany."I mumbles.

"I told you a thousand times it's B!"

"Fine, fine. B."I said emphasizing B."By the way...who is Eli Erikson? Is he new or something? And his friend...Troy something. Are they both new?" B's eyes widen in shock and her mouth dropped opened. "What?"I sad cautiously. "Did I say something wrong?"

"Yes you anti-social freak Eli is one, not new, and neither is Troy! They've been going to our school for the past 3 years!!"B said. "That's it! You are coming over to my house! I'm driving you! You need to schooled in boys, gossip, cliches, and...I don't know the last one, but you still need to know!"
