I woke up at 5:30 a.m lifting my body off the queen sized bed. Everything was white. White bed, white covers, white paint, white windows, white carpet, white soft leather couch, white doors, white bathroom, white dresser, white ceilings, white lingerine. Yes. I said lingerine. I will not lie, I did have lingerine before Steph got me some. The only difference was the fact that mine were black. I got dressed in my dark wash jeans, that had a little flare at the end, with my TheReadySet tee on, along with my black hoodie zipped upclose to my neck. 5:35. I brushed my teeth and got on my black plain converse and my messenger bag. I don't have a phone, how could I possible have one when none of my foster parents cared a whole lot about a piece of shit like me. All I know is to pretend, and get the grades. Once I'm out of here it's homefree.
"Sam! Breakfast kay?"Steph called, using the inhome system. You know the kind I thought only showed up in movies. A little white box with dots on them to show speakers, and then a pad of buttons? I walked down stairs and into the kitchen. 5:40. Toast, butter, jam, orange juice, milk, eggs, bacon, bagels, donuts, coffee, tea, apples, oranges, grapes, banana. Everything a deluxe breakfast has, its there. "Take whatever you like kay!" Stephenie said, having coffee and a bagel with strawberry cream cheese. I looked at the food again, wondering how they would taste like it my mouth.
"No thanks. I don't eat breakfast." I said, normally I don't eat.
"Oh, come on! This is yummy stuff! How could you pass this up! Come on, just take something!" Stephenie urged. I sighed and took a pear, an apple, and an orange. I bottled up the milk and took three slices of bread, taking two jam take out containers and a butter. "That's more like it!"
"I'm leaving,"I said, packing it in my bag.
"Alright, have fun at school! Feel free to invite your friends over anytime! Just give me a heads up and-" I slammed the door and got into the car, a cherry red BMW m5. Paul drove me to school which took 20 minutes. 6:00. I got off the car and as soon as Paul was out of sight, I ran towards the orphanage. 6:15, alright, I'm gonna make it. I opened the door, and Sister Ann welcomed me.
"What are you doing here?"she snapped at me.
"I need to see the three of them."I said, taking a deep breath.
"Alright," Sister Ann sighed. There aren't many of us, only three remain. An eight year old girl named Emily; brown shimmering hair with baby blue eyes, freckles spotting her cheeks and nose, not too much, but enough to be noticed, is quiet and listens to what she is told. A ten year old boy named Roger who has golden blonde hair with the greenest eyes; can be troublesome but has his sweet moments. And finally theres Cynthia, age 6 with golden blonde hair and baby blue eyes, skin so white and lips so pink, she is an angel just as she looks.
"Sami!" They all shouted, running towards me.
"Roger, Emily."I said hugging them both. "Cynthia,"I said, hugging her last, with both arms.
"I missed you mommy!"she said, snugging her head against the crook of my neck.
"I missed you to baby,"I said kissing the top of her head. "I have a special treat!" I lead the into the dinning room and emptied the food. Toast for everyone, jam for Emily and Cynthia, Roger with butter, apple for Roger, orange for Emily and pear for Cynthia. I poured milk into their little cups.
"That you Sami!"
"Thank you mommy!"
"Your welcome everyone."
"Sam," Sister Ann said, gesturing me over to her and Sister Alice and Sister Marie.
"Yes,"I said.
