Chapter 29: Grocery Shopping

Eunha's POV:

We were walking around the store and grabbed the many things that we need. His arm was still around my shoulder and I felt safe and loved.

"Ooh!! Do you wanna get an ice cream cake??!"

He yelled as he ran to the cake.

"For what oppa??"

"Um... just because!!! DUH!!"

I laughed and nodded, "Okieee... but let's grab it later so that it doesn't melt."

"Ne!!" He put it back and hid it so no one else would take it. 

I laughed as he came over here with a bright smile on his face. He put his arm back where it was, around my shoulder and I just looked at the list I made earlier on our way over here.

"Okie. So we went to the produce and dairy aisle, where do you want to go now??" 

"Mmm..." He hummed, "Let's go look where the meat is at." 

"Of course you want to go over there." 

"What?? It's good." 

I laughed and shook his head. He just smiled brightly. 

We got to the meat section and he began to put in all of the food. 

"Do we have ramen at home??" I asked. 

*gasps exaggeratedly* "We forgot about the ramen!!" 

"TO THE RAMEN!!" We both yelled at the same time. 

We ran over to the section where the ramen was at and got a heck ton of it. I laughed as oppa threw it into the cart. 

"Wait. Aren't I older than you??" 

"No. Who told you that?" 

"When's your birthday?? You only told me the year. Never the date." 

"Because the date is irrelevant." 

Hmm... 

"Are you an elephant??" I asked. 

"No. Why??" 

"Because you are irrelephant." I began to laugh at his expression after I said it. 

He looked so hurt. 

"That's rude." 

"It's funny. There's a difference. Learn it." 

He just stood there with his mouth open and it made me laugh so hard. 

"No seriously though," I gathered myself, "When's your birthday??" 

"When's yours??" 

"May 30th, 1997. You??"

He cleared his throat and began to put more ramen in. 

"Septemeber 1st, 1997." 

I was shocked. 

"YOU'RE YOUNGER THAN ME?!?! AND THIS ENTIRE TIME I WAS CALLING YOU OPPA?!!" 

THE BETRAYAL!!! THE PAIN!!! THE EMBARRASSMENT!!!

He just stood there quietly tucking in his lips and biting them. 

"Wow. That's..." I just didn't say anything and kept walking. 

So I'm the older one... damn... that's sad...

"Does it bother you??" He asked as he put his arm back on my shoulder.
