Chapter 21: Feelings

Yerin's POV:

"Yeojeli!!!" Eunha yelled as we arrived at the school. 

"WHAT?!" Yuju yelled back as she came towards us. 

"I FREAKING LOVE YOU!!" Eunha yelled. 

"Here they go," I said and Jungkook laughed.

"I LOVE YOU MORE!!" Yuju yelled as she hugged Eunha. 

"And I don't want to hear it." Hobi oppa said and we laughed as Eunha and Yuju just stood there pouting. 

We entered the class and saw SinB and V messing around together. I sighed and sat down in my seat. 

Eunha and Jungkook were playing around and I looked back at Yuju and saw her looking at me. 

"You okay??" She asked. 

I nodded and held up an okay sign and turned back to face the front. I looked at V and saw him starting behind me. I turned over and saw him staring at SinB as she played around with Hobi. 

I groaned and put my head on my desk. The bell rang and Mr. Yoongi came in and began the class. I sighed and tried to focus but ended up failing...  instead, I just zoned out and hoped that Mr. Yoongi wouldn't notice me.

I felt someone poke me and turned over. Eunha had a little paper in her hand and gave it to me. I gave her a look but she ignored me and focused back on the class. 

 I made sure no one was looking and opened the note. 

'After class... meet me near the girl's bathroom down the hall. We need to talk. I can tell that something's bothering you. I love you.

-Your lovely Yeojeli'

I smiled at the note and saved it in my pocket. I turned over to face Yuju and saw her smiling at me. I winked at her and turned back. I smiled and tried to focus again and I could. 

Yuju is my source of energy. I need her. My best friend.

The class bell rang and I was about to leave when Tae grabbed my hand. I smiled and turned over to him. 

"Hey, cutie." He said. 

"What is going on in that mind of yours, oppa??" 

"I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date. A double date."

I smiled, "Oh really... with who??" 

"With Kookie and SinB." 

I kept the smile on but wanted to punch him in the face. 

"Sure!! He's going to sleepover at my house for the rest of the week anyway." I said.

"Okay. I'll tell them!!" He said as he ran off. 

I sighed as I watched him run off to SinB. 

He doesn't even question why Jungkook is sleeping over?? What is wrong with him??

I left my thoughts in the classroom and walked over to the bathroom. There I saw Yuju and when she saw me she gave me a smile. I hugged her and we began to walk somewhere else. 

We walked over to the garden and sat down on the benches. 

"So. Tell me what's wrong." She said. 

I sighed, "Yuju... I just... Yesterday, Eunha, V, Jungkook, SinB, and I spent the day out." 

"Okay... and why wasn't I invited??" 

I laughed and smacked her lightly, "Yahh..." 

"Sorry. But what happened, shouldn't that have been fun??" 

"I mean yeah... it was. We were shopping and spending time together. You know... living life." 

"But..." 

I sighed, "But then SinB and V began to spend time together while we were shopping at a couple's store. It bothered me but I just acted like it didn't and joined them." 

"Oof." 

"Then came the time for food." 

"But, food is great." 

I laughed, "Yeah. It is... but it's what happened during the lunch that bothered me." 

"What happened??" 

"Tae and SinB spent the entire time together and messing around. Jungkook and I were just completely ignored by our partners and Eunha was just sitting there watching it waiting to blow." 

"Were they close, close??" She asked. 

"Yeah. They were so close and it hurt me. Instead of spending time with me... his girlfriend... he was obsessed with her." 

"What happened after that??" 

I sighed, "Eunha went off on them and then we left. Eunha, Jungkook, and I left with Hobi oppa."

"Then who did V leave with??" 

I felt a knot tie in my throat, "He left... with SinB." 

"Can I say something?? Without you getting mad at me??" 

I nodded, "I could never get mad at you." 

She smiled, "Okay so... there's no easy way to say it so I'm just gonna say it straight to you." 

I nodded as I faced her, "Okay." 

"I think that V oppa still has feelings for her and is using you to move on from her." 

My heart dropped at what she said. Tears flooded my eyes, and fear rushed through my body. 

"Unnie... was I too honest??" 

I didn't even know what to say. 

I... that can't be true... he said he loves me... he said he'd try to forget... he...

"I- Yuju..." I cried. 

She hugged me and I cried silently, "What if it's true?? What if he doesn't love me??" 

"If he doesn't love you, then he's losing the most magnificent angel that ever existed on this planet. You're worth so much that you don't even need someone for you to be happy." 

"But what if he leaves me for her??" I cried as I broke the hug.

She wiped my tears and looked at me straight in the eye. 

"If he leaves you... then you let him go. No matter how hard, how painful, how many tears you have to cry... you let him go. Because you shouldn't have to beg him to love you... to care; and you shouldn't have to beg him to put you first. You're worth more than that. Do you understand me??" 

I couldn't even process. My mouth was moving but nothing would come out... nothing could come out. 

"I said, do you understand me??" 

I nodded and she sighed, "I love you unnie, and if he ever hurts you, I will end any relationship and communication I have with him. Even if it means breaking up with Jimin because you are my best friend. You're my priority. You come before any guy... and any friend. I will have your back forever." 

I smiled and cried at what she said. She laughed and just hugged me. 

"I know... I love me too." She said. 

I laughed and we went back to class since the bell rang. 

It can't be that you don't love me... right oppa?? You promised me... and if you break that promise... I don't know what will happen to me...
