Chapter 33: You can't

Eunha's POV:

"What just happened???" 

Jungkook and I looked over and saw Unnie standing there. 

Oh no...

"Unnie it's not what it looks like... I- Um- we..." 

"Eunha. Are you seriously going to act like I didn't just see you two kissing each other??" She asked as she came over and sat in between us. 

"Please don't tell anyone," I begged her. 

"What about SinB??" She asked. 

"I'll tell her. I need to tell her something anyway." Kookie said. 

"You guys can't do this!!" She yelled. 

I looked down at the couch. 

WHY'D YOU KISS HIM BACK?!! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO SINB?!! 

"Jungkook. You have a girlfriend!!! You can't go and kiss someone who isn't your girlfriend. Especially your girlfriend's best friend!!" 

Jungkook sighed, "I know... I know... I just- You know my situation." 

Yerin's POV:

I sighed, "Yes. I know. But you can't go messing with my sister's feelings, nor SinB's. That's not how you figure this out like that okay!! It's not an excuse." 

Jungkook sighed and I looked at Eunha. 

"Go to your room." 

She looked shocked, "Why??" 

"Go to your room. I need to speak with Jungkook. I'll talk to you after." 

She nodded and sighed as she got up. Her head was hanging and I felt so bad because I knew she was beating herself up.

"Why'd you two kiss?!!" I yelled at him. 

"Well, we were eating takeout and then-" 

"So you made out because of food?!" 

"NO!! While we were eating, she asked me about who I liked because I told her that I liked someone other than SinB... and then I asked her if she would get mad and she said no... and I didn't know how to tell her... and she looked at me so innocently... and her eyes were sparkling and I just... I couldn't help it." 

I sighed and facepalmed. 

"You can't just kiss her when you have a girlfriend." 

"But I don't want to be with SinB. I never wanted to be with her in the first place." 

I was shocked by his outburst. 

"What are you talking about??" 

"SinB was my best friend... and then she asked me out when I didn't have any feelings for her... and I said yes just to make her happy." 

"Jungkook..." 

"I know!! I know it's wrong... I just... I never wanted to hurt her." 

"Then why do you want to break up with her now?? Why not then??" 

"Because she was too attached to me... and now she seems more distant... so it'll make it easier and-" 

"Less painful," I said as I looked at my hands.

"Yeah..." 

I ran my hand through my hair. "Do you understand that this changes everything??"
