Chapter 34

Bella's PoV:-

"Miss, you are free to go. Your bail has been approved" came the stern voice from behind me.

I ignored that thinking he must be talking to someone else. Probably to someone from the next cell.

"Miss Bella Knight" he said again.

"Yeah... That's me" I said standing and turning around to face the grumpy looking man staring at me.

"Miss, your bail has been approved"

"Oh...Thank You" I followed him to the front office to meet the inspector.

"Who bailed me officer?" I asked the officer politely.

"I did" came the most beautiful voice from behind.

I turned around with tear filled eyes to find Nick smiling at me. I bit my lower lip preventing myself from crying out loudly, he came towards me, engulfed me in a warm hug and kissed my forehead .

"I love You" he whispered. I sobbed in his chest lightly. He loves me. He loves you Bella. You idiot..he loves you.

He ushered me out after I signed some papers and we sat in his car, with smiling faces.
He pulled me in a hug and drove back to his apartment in that position itself. It was a comfortable silence all through the way back home. I felt as if I was at the salvation, it was the most serenity I have ever felt.
When we reached home, he picked me up in a bridal-style carrying me in his cottage with a beautiful smile plastered on his face. I smiled , rather grinned at him widely.
He gently placed me on the dining table, and kissed my forehead lightly.
"How are you?" he asked kissing my cheeks .

"I am fine , how are you?? You have been shot and you're carrying me like a baby" I whispered.

"I am fine baby".

I smiled loving the word Baby from his mouth. Gosh...

"Bella. I need you to eat your dinner ok?" He asked with a handsome smile on his face.

I nodded and he went into the kitchen preparing something for us to eat. I was gazing at him, checking him out, frankly. His eyes focused on the task in hand, he was so engrossed in just chopping some asparagus, I saw how his face was in a constant grin, he glanced a little towards me, I started looking elsewhere, jerking my eyes away from his body.
"Like what you see?" He said with a smirk.
I blushed looking anywhere but him.
"Oh my my , Bella , you are not gonna let me cook with that face of yours. " He said playfully.
I bit my lip, "Stop checking me out, you can have me anytime now" he said and laughed thereafter.
I blushed even more at that, how can he say that loudly.

After the dinner we sat together cuddling each other and watching some Romance movie, I don't know what has gotten into Nick's head but he has become so adorable. I smiled at him when he saw me looking at him and he kissed my lips lightly.
I must've drifted off to sleep because when I woke up Nick was tugging me into the blanket.
He kissed my forehead and was about to go when I grabbed his hand lightly , "Don't leave me. Nick. Please" I begged.

He seemed thinking about it but smiled and pulled off his T-shirt, tugged himself with me and pulled me in his chest, kissing my forehead.
I smiled into his chest.

"Bella. No matter what happens never forget that I love you, and will always love you even if I die I will love you more than anything" he whispered

"Sh... everything is fine now please don't say all this. I love you too Nick."  I whispered.

We both drifted off to sleep entangled together , hugging each other.

I woke up with a bright smile, it was the calmest night after so many years. I opened my eyes to see a grinning face of Nick. I smiled at his foolish grin, he looked so hot.

Shit.... Don't go there Bella....

"Bella. I love You" he whispered all of a sudden with adoration.

I smiled at him pulling him and kissing him with all the love, he too poured all his love in that single kiss.

"I love you too Nick" I whispered against his lips.
I lone tear escaped my eyes, Nick looked at me frowning my face , "I don't like to see tears in your eyes Bella" he whispered kissing it away.

I got numb at his words. He really loves me so much. I am blessed to have him, thank you so much God. He is the best thing of my life.

After breakfast which was prepared by Nick , we headed for some official work, which was really important and couldn't be denied.
Nick assured me I will be home soon, after this. He asked me to go to my home for a few days so that things get better.

We reached the expected location in 20 minutes, it was a huge bungalow with lots and lots of security guards. I panicked on seeing so many people with guns but we were ushered inside easily.
I looked at Nick and I missed a heartbeat on seeing his pale face. His eyes were expressionless and he looked deep in thought.

He stopped the car looking at me for a second, my eyes tried to find his playful grin rather those were met with a cold look.
His eyes were turned into stone, and he was looking like he'd murder someone soon.

He jumped off the car, opened my side of the door, and dragged me harshly out of the car. I looked at him dumbfounded afraid what else was left now.

"Dad" he shouted when we reached the living area of this huge bungalow.

A bald old man came into out view with a smirk on his face , "Oh. Nick. What a surprise?" he said .

"Cut that crap, Seth. Your Bella's here , do whatever you want with her. Let dad go" he said coldly throwing me away.
