Ingredients :

1 cup maida

1 cup sweet khoya ( dried evaporated milk solid )

1/2 tbsp baking soda

3/4 cup milk

1 cup ghee

2 cups sugar

2 pod cardamom

1 cup water

1 tbsp almond

5 tbsp cashew nut

5 tbsp pistachio

STEPS:

STEP 1: Take a bowl, add maida ,sweet kova,baking soda and mix well. Until the mixture is completely binded well.

STEP 2: On the other side switch to the flame add a cup of water and required sugar stir well. Wait till sugar dissolves completely.

STEP 3: Add cardamom pods in a pestle and broke it open. Then put the pods into sugar syrup , cook for 5mins and off the flame.

STEP 4: Now in your mixture add milk about 2-3 tbsp and mix the dough. If milk required add it in teaspoons to avoid lumps. Knead the dough until it is soft.

STEP 5: Take a non-stick pan add ghee , keep it in medium to high flame .

STEP 6: Make tiny little balls of jamun from the mixture prepared. Check the ghee is heated by putting a piece of mixture, it should raise immediately. After it raises, add the jamun balls slowly into the pan.

Note :Dont stir now , let it cook . After sometime stir and cook until it is brown.

STEP 7: Add the jamun balls to sugar syrup and garnish it with some almonds , cashews and pistachio. Let it soak till 2-3 hours before it is served.
