INGREDIENTS :
1 kg chicken
2 onions ( thinly sliced )
3 tomatoes ( pulp )
1 small cup coriander leaves ( 3-4 stalk finely chopped )
1/2 lemon
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp red chilli powder
1/2 tbsp tumeric powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1/2 garam masala powder
250 gm curd
1 tbsp salt
150 gm oil
GARAM MASALA SPICES
5-6 green cardamom
3 black cardamom
2 cinnamon stick
1 tbsp pepper
5 clove
1/2 tbsp cumin seeds
3 bay leaf
For PASTE Ingredients
(wash the below ingredients and make a fine paste )
10 no of badam
1 tbsp poppy seeds
1 tbsp dried shredded coconut
STEPS :
STEP 1 : Take a pan add oil and onion fry until crisp brown. Stir in-between to avoid burnt flavour. Remove it in a plate when its golden brown.
STEP 2 : Add the garam masala spices in the pan for tempering , add the cleaned chicken along with ginger garlic paste. Stir continuously till ginger garlic flavour goes and until its brownish.
STEP 3: Now pour the tomato puree into the pan , add red chilli, turmeric and garam masala powder and salt . Stir until raw smell goes and oil separates.
STEP 4: Gradually add the curd into the pan. Cook for 3 mins approx.
STEP 5: Finally add the paste mixture into the frying pan and saute it for 2 mins .
STEP 6: Crush the fried onions add and it to the chicken korma mix well and let it cook till 5 mins. You could see the oil separates from the dish its the indicator that our chicken is perfectly cooked.
STEP 7: Garnish it with some chopped coriander and turn off the flame. Serve it hot with some naan breads.
