Lizza's POV
The moment Frank packed the car infront of the house, I was out on my feets heading to my bedroom and into the bathroom. My inner thighs looked like a battlefield soaked in blood. Give it to me to be a river of blood as soon as my period kicks in.
I cleaned myself and hand washed my clothes. I didn't want any maid to see my blood, that felt too embarassing. I went back to my bedroom and wore a paired of black matching underwears a black knee-length jeans skirt with an orange t-shirt that I tugged, put on sandals, took my phone and went to the living room.
I had the feeling that nothing was going right and if I wanted to know anything about it I had to look at the news which I dreaded. When I walked into the living room, Frank was sitting on the couch pensively.
*Ahem* I cleared my throat catching his attention. He looked up immediately with his brows cocked in questioning.
" What's happening?" I asked walking towards the TV to grab the remote sitting on the glass table. I on the TV and started looking for the news channel still not obtaining a response from Frank. I kept going on and on looking for the news channel but something caught my attention.
Almost everything on TV was the same." Urgent news" showing men in suits battling. It looked like a movie but seeing the "Urgent news " written in red bold on TV made me believe it and if it wasn't enough for me to believe, the big title " HUNDERBAN THE GREAT, UNDER THE ATTACK OF ARMIES OF EMPTY SOULS" I shivered after reading that.
The screen flashed to different areas in the city. Journalists were commenting all the time over the now battlefield. My heart felt like it was going to pop out of my chest as some of the flashbacks of my attacks by empty souls appeared infront of me. I sat down immediately to prevent myself from falling.
The camera zoomed on a person fighting ahead of the men in black suits. He was in the middle of the army of empty souls while the men in black tried to hold those who wanted to get into the city. The person looked so much like Dom because it was Dom. When it sank into me, I gasped in horror.
What was happening out there? Is that why Frank was so uneasy on the way back? I looked at Frank in disbelief but he didn't look back but I knew he could sense my eyes on him. I turned back to the TV and it had flashed to someone else, the person was fighting alone against the army of empty souls.
He was moving at an incredible pace the almost hurt the human eye. All I saw were people falling were he once stood while he kept moving on. Then out of nowhere, blood started oozing from everywhere. When the camera zoomed, I recognized him immediately. It was the boss. He looked in his element. Almost as if he was enjoying it.
I couldn't believe what was happening. The city was in coas almost everywhere was filled by empty souls men in black and aristocrats but something was missing. The citizens. Where were they? My thoughts were interrupted by the ringing of my phone.
I picked it up after looking at the ID, it was Elliott.
" Hi" I whispered
" Hey, baby. How are you?" He asked fear clear in his voice.
" I'm fine and you ?" I asked back.
" I'm fine. Where are you right now?" He asked.
" I'm at home" I said as a tear rolled down my cheek. I was terrified. Maybe they attacked where he was too.
" Are you safe?" He asked and I broke down in sobs and whispered a " yes " in-between the sobs.
" Hey, baby. Stop crying ok? You'll be fine. The Aristocrats are doing a great job there." He reassured me but that made me cry even more. What if Dom got hurt? I didn't bother too much about Alex and the boss because legend has they are war machines but Dom he wasn't.
