Sir Klaus's POV

I had a pile of work to complete. Sitting in my office, I held a sheet of paper infront of me, reading it. I had to finish some of my work early because I needed to get to punish the Aristocrats that took part in the attack of my Destined and my city in few days.

No one touched what's mine.

I blocked everything to get to me as I worked more than usual. I needed no distractions or interruptions but still I couldn't stop myself from thinking about her, my Destined, my beloved, the only being that could change my furor into peace and calm.

I missed being by her side but work didn't get done on its own.

My phone went off and I groaned taking it out if my suit's pocket. Alphonse's number appeared on the screen. I looked at it for a while debating whether or not I should answer but when the thought of an impossible accident happening at my castle where my Destined was, I didn't hesitate to slide to the answer icon.

" Sir, it's... Miss Elizabeth" I froze when I heard him and the loud sobs at the other end next to him, made me crazy.

" Hendrick!!!" I growled my PA's name and he was there in a matter of  seconds.

" Yes S-"

" I'm off" I cut him off and teleported to my castle. I appeared in the living room first before teleporting infront of her bedroom. I had no intention of making her more scared than she was already.

She was yelling in horror. What happened?

When I opened her bedroom door the first thing that punched my nostrils was the odour of death skin. My eyes directly snapped to a lone burned head than was lying on the floor at a far corner of her room with opened eyes.

I hurried to the bathroom were her sobs were booming from. When I saw her, my heart ached. It broke at her sight. Compassion, anger and furor took over me along side my beast but I had to hold him at bay. The priority was my Destined the others came next.

I walked to her, squated and took her hands away from her ears. When her eyes landed on me, she looked lost for a while before jumping into my arms, sobbing again. I carried her from the floor, - she gripped me around the neck for support - and I moved her to her bed but she didn't want to sit on in.

I kept her in my arms taking her out of her bedroom to mine. When I sat her on the bed, she reluctantly complied but she never let me go.

Elizabeth was a fragile person who always tried to be as tough as possible due to all her misfortunes but broke at a point when she couldn't take it anymore and right now she couldn't take it anymore.

She was in a state of complete shock with her hands gripping my own in a tight knot. It didn't hurt but I knew I had to take her out of her shock state for her own good.

" Love?" My voice surprised me. It was so low that you couldn't hear it if you were few inches away from us. I detached my hand from her grip to hold her face and make her look at me but her eyes were still looking at nothing in particular.

"Liz?" She didn't respond. By this time there was only a single solution. Make her talk about it. It will surely be painful but it's needed.

" Tell me what happened, love" I asked her. Her eyes immediately directed to mine, they were wide as if the traumatising scene was playing in her mind over and over again.

She sucked in a breath.

" I saw, I saw *sniff* a head!" I clenched my teeths at the sight of her state. She was broken by what she saw. The person who did this to her won't see the any other sunset apart from the one he was seeing tonight. I promised myself.
