I walked to the door when my phone went off and saw an unknown number on it's screen. Guessing he should be the one I opened the door just to see him standing there infront. Indeed he's tall!
" Hi" we greeted simultaneously. I smiled at him which he returned.
" You should be...." I didn't know his name since I didn't really check out. I know, I'm reckless, whatever.
" Marion" he said smiling.
" Nice to meet you Marion, I'm Elizabeth." We shake hands.
" Come in" I opened the door more for him to get in. He walked in, looking around as I directed him into the living room. I could see him trying to look composed but even I had more than that reaction when I entered here the first time. I cleared my throat.
" Take a seat, Marion" I gestured him towards the beige sofa. He sat down still looking around before his eyes finally fell on me while I smiled back him. He looked somewhat embarrassed with him cheeks turning lightly pink.
" So, Mr Marion...."
" Oh humm, Marion would be okay, Madame" Ew! I feel like an old lady.
" And Madame isn't needed. Do you have any preferences for your drinks?"
" No, Madame" I suppressed the urge to roll my eyes at him.
" Then a glass of water would be enough" I say getting up to take a glass of water for him in the kitchen. I return with it on a platter, placing it down at infront of him.
" Thanks you, Madame" he said and I muttered a little 'you're welcome' before sitting back where I was previously.
"So, Marion how do you usually proceed?" He frowned surprised I didn't want to debrief him. He went on about his work schedule and soon we were walking out to see where he was to cultivate the garden.
We walked to where Sir Klaus and I were standing the day before.
" This place is really huge huh?" Marion commented
" You have no idea" I answered with a breathy laugh since we were walking a little fast.
" .... And that is why I have no idea of where to start and end the garden. If we made one on all this vast land, I'll still be satisfied" I slowed down my steps, Marion complying.
I was breathing heavily and him just slightly over normal. He looked at me with a little amusement dancing in his eyes
" If you laugh I'm kicking your ass, buddy" yeah I'm that desperate for friendship or just someone to talk to.
The edges of his mouth twitched up, I narrowed my eyes at him daring him.
" So what do you say about here" I point to the vast land Infront of us.
" Or maybe we can just go for a glass house then a flower yard?" I rubbed my head trying to get to a conclusion.
A maid came walking to me.
" Miss, the tables have been set." She said then slightly bowed. I rolled my eyes internally before giving her a smile and a ' thank you', she bowed and left.
" Shall we?" I asked Marion
" Of course" we started walking towards the place the servants have set at my demand for Marion and I to seat and talk. We walked slowly while there was a weird silence in between us.
" So, Marion..." I started
" For how long have you been doing this job?" I asked in attempt to dissolve the silence
