The Final Results
Same Day
The stage doors opened and first LA Reid and Tate Stevens walked hand in hand, then Simon and the girls and finally Demi and I, her arm around my upper waist. As we walked out all was heard were the loud cheers of the X-Factor viewers.
This is the scariest moment of my life. As we walked out to the massive X, Tate and the girls grabbed on to my hands. When we reached the X, we let go and braced ourselves for the results.
"Okay, here we go, this is it. But before we can crown the winner of the X-Factor USA 2012, our 2nd winner. We must send one home, so for the act with the least amount of votes is, pause.... Tate Stevens!"
Then Fifth Harmony and I hugged Tate and congratulate him of getting to the top 3, as we watched his journey to right now, we applauded LA and Tate for an amazing journey.
But this was now the big moment, it was either, Fifth Harmony or me for the win.
"Okay, now here we go, this is it. America has voted and we're about to reveal the winner of the X-Factor USA 2012, our 2nd winner, Good luck to both: Serenity and Fifth Harmony," Dermot says into the mic. I took a deep breath and look over to Normani, Ally, Lauren, Camila and Dinah and wished them 'good luck'. Demi held onto my hand and squeezed it, she knew I was so scared. I smiled gratefully at her and looked forward at Dermot again.
"I can now reveal, the winner of the X-Factor USA 2012, is...." Dermot starts. In that moment it felt like forever, the anticipation was killing me. As l looked down my eyes started to water. I'm probably going home, I guess finishing runner-up is still good.
"Serenity!" Dermot shouts and I looked around and was about to start clapping for Fifth Harmony, when I realized he said MY name! He said Serenity. I started jumping up and down and tears streamed out my eyes. I hugged Demi tightly and started sobbing.
"I can't believe it!" I said through tears. I let go off Demi and hugged all the girls of Fifth Harmony, as they spun me around. I fell down in tears and cried my heart out that my dreams came true after all.
"I'm so proud of you, Serenity," they say. They put me down and looked behind me (only Dinah, Camila, and Lauren). I follow their direction and saw Nicole, Mariah, and Kate, standing with smiles on their faces, before I have to make my winner's speech for winning X-Factor.
I followed their direction (Nicole, Kate, and Mariah) and saw Normani and Ally running up to me. I smile as I saw both, they're still here! As they inched closer I opened up my arms and embraced them in a hug. God, I missed them so much, I was such an idiot to ever ignore them, even not give them a chance. I realize now not everything is the same as Him. Normani and Ally are proof, they fought for me, for Fifth Harmony and for their harmonizers, when most people would just walk away without trying.
"I'm so sorry, Mani and Ally," I say between sobs and they shake their heads and kisses my cheeks which made me smile fro ear-to-ear.
"Don't be sorry Serenity. You just won, I'm happy for you, babe," Mani says and I thank her and blush at her pet-name.
"Serenity, I know right now might not be the time, but I'll never know if I don't try," Ally says and I looked at both confused. Everyone in the room quieted down when they heard Ally and Normani say that. They take both of my hands and I look down at them and smile.
"Serenity Ayeisha Sasha Stieneke, Winner of the X-Factor USA 2012, You are the most beautiful person I have and will ever meet. Inside and out, Will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?" They both day at the same time and I smile really wide as more tears fall out my eyes.
