Partys and Goodbyes

Emily's PoV

The calibrations began! We were paraded through town. Aslan in front Caspian and I followed then Susan and peter finally Lucy and Edmund. Caspian had a gold crown on his head and a silver one on mine! My chocolate brown horse Alice was trotting along happily. I looked back at Lucy in there light pink dress witch fell pass her solders. She smiled broadly at me. Susan did the same in her red and gold dress. I was in a blue dress, which fell to my ankles. We entered the castle. Where a grand feast was prepaid for us.

"Wow I've never been so full!!!" Lucy said

"I sure you have!" I protested.

"Don't worry she says that every time" Peter laughed.

Later there was a huge ball. I had never dance before so when Caspian asked Susan to dance, Peter took Lucy, Edmund came to me say

"Please don't make me dance with some stranger!" I laugh and took his hand.

"I must confess that I have never danced before"

"Well you're a natural!" peter and Lucy where dancing not to far away.

"Do you want to swap?" peter asked

"Hey we're not swords you know!" Lucy and I said.

"Sorry" he said as the song ended.

We bowled to on another peter turned to me "may I have this dance?"

"Do you mind?" I asked Edmund.

"Be my guest!" he replied.

I danced with Peter.

"What about Caspian and Susan?" he said as w looked over at them, they were quite close together on such an up beat song.

'I know!"

Later that night there were fire works. Edmund pulled me over by the end.

"Hey."

"Hey!" I replied

"You ok?" he asked

"I'm grand! I've never had so much fun at this castle!" he laughed.

"Emily!" Caspian had just walked don't the corridor and seen Edmund and I "Emily! Edmund! We have been looking for you everywhere come on!"

**********************The next day***********************************

We were on a raised platform. Aslan was next to me along with the head centaur, whose name I discovered is Rollin, and Trumpkin. Caspian stood at the front of the stage. The whole kingdom was assembled. The four kings and queen were standing opposite us. I knew it was time to say goodbye! I didn't want to but it was time!

"Narnia belongs to the Narnian's as much as it belongs to man. Any Telmarines who wish to stay are welcome to but for anyone who wishes to, Aslan will return you to the land of our four fathers"

"It's been generations since we had left Telma."

"I are not referring to Telma you asserters were sea fairing brigand pirates, run aground on an island, there they found a rear cave that brought them here. The same worlds as our kings and queens." They looked at each other "and to that land I will return you it is a good place for any that wish to make a new start."

"I will excepted the offer!" Miraz's old right hand man stepped forward

"So will we!" said the lady and her son.

"Because you have spoken first, you future in that world will be good!" he breathed on them. Then the tree twisted open. They walked through it and disappeared. There was a loud u roar.

"How do we know you aren't leading us to our deaths!"

"Sir! If it is any help I will lead 11 of my men and me through with out delay!" Reepicheep said

"We'll go" Peter said

"We will?" Edmund questioned

"Come on times up!" he walked over to Caspian "we are not needed anymore!" he handed Caspian his sword.

"I will look after it till you return." Caspian replied taking it.

"I am afraid that's just it," Susan said as everyone turned to her "we're not coming back!"

"We're not?" asked Lucy.

"You two are, at least I think he means you two" he walks back next to Susan and nods to Aslan.

"But why?" Lucy said "have they done something bad?"

"Quite the opposite, but all thing have their time. Your brother and sister have learned what they can from this world. Now its time for them to live in their own". Lucy looked so sad

"It alright Lu! It's not what I thought it would be but it's aright one day you'll see to. Come on!" they began to walk towards us. I rushed forward an wrapped my arms around Lucy.

"I'm going to miss you! But I know you will be back!" I said stepping back in line. Edmund walked towards me he looked like he might cry.

"Chin up!" I said pushing his chin up.

"Will I ever see you again?"

"They say if you love something, you should let it go and if it comes back..." I lent forward and hug him just as Lucy hugged Trumpikn. His hands were on my waist and mine on his neck. I dragged my hands down his arms and took his hands.

"This is me letting go!" I said letting go of his hands.

"You'll be here? When I come back?" I nodded

"Then there is no need to say goodbye!" he walked back with peter and Lucy. Our attention turned to Susan and Caspian.

sorry its so long! i needed to end it on Edmund's terms! i hope you have enjoyed this i and hoping to do a squeal when i have the chance! just 1 more chapter to go. Thanks for everyone surpport! You are the best I dont want this to end 😂😂😂..- Faith Ryde
