13.// being sick sucks

I woke up in my bed and Bella was not there, Darn. I got up and go out of my room and down to the kitchen.

It is noon so Bella should be at class. "Luke? Where is Isabella" Diana asks me, "What do you mean? Didn't she go to class? She has classes all day today starting at 8am."

"She never came down. I thought maybe she just has class later today." I sigh, "I'll be back."

I go back upstairs and go into Bella's room. "Bella? You have class today!" I groan, "I know But,"

She was interrupted with a sneezes. "i think I'm." she coughs, "Sick."

"You do sound really stuffed up." I sat next to her and put my hand to her forehead.

"Baby your burning up. hold on a second."

I came back and checked her temperature, "Yeah your not going to class today." I brush her hair out of her face that was sticking because of the sweat.

"Whats my Temp?" She asks me, "104.8" She groans, "it's so hot!" She moans out, "Hold on." I open up the window and she says it is still hot.

"Well you do have cotton pants and a sweater on. Here let me help you." I help her sit up and take her sweater off and change her cotton pants for some basketball shorts I had.

"Better?" I ask, She nods her head. "Okay, You get some rest. I'll come back up before I go to class to check on you, Sound good?"

She nodded her head and I go downstairs. I tell Diana she is sick and she says she has class till 3 and than she will be back.

"Okay, I have my class at 2 so she will have to be home alone for an hour." i run my hands through my dirty hair.

"Okay, i'll try to be back as soon as I can! Bye!" She leaves and I go take a shower. After my shower I had about thirty minutes till I had to leave.

"Bella? You okay in here?" I ask and come into her room, She was laying on her bed still, her nose was all red and her eyes were a little swollen.

"Still not feeling to good. Can you come cuddle with me?" She asks. I smile and got into the bed.

I hug her tight to me and close my eyes for only a few seconds, I thought.

I was woken by Bella shaking me, "Luke? Luke what time do you have class today?"

"Uh, 2 why?" I ask without even bothering to open my eyes, "Luke! It's 2:15!"

I jump up and look at the clock to see if she was serious, Yup it is 2:15.

"Shit! I have to go, Bye Babe, Diana should be here at 3!" I run down the stairs and run to the building I had maths in.

The teacher is usually late so i really hope he doesn't pick today to be there on time. I walk in and try to catch my breath the best i could than sneak in.

I sit next to Calum and it didn't seem like anyone noticed but Calum, "Thank you for showing today Mr. Hemmings." The teacher who i always forgot his name says.

I sigh, "Glad to be here." I lacked enthusiasm big time and lean back in my chair. He turns back to the board and we begin the lesson for today.

he gave us some time to work on our seven pages of homework so I just spend it talking to Calum. "Where were you?" Cal asks, "Bella is sick so i was taking care of her and lost track of time."

"You were cuddling with her and fell asleep didn't you." he asks smiling evilly. "No!" I lie, I don't want to seem like a softy who cuddles with their girlfriend all the time.
