Chapter 6: Lazybones

I put a new coat of concealer on my neck and went downstairs. It's been two days since the demon brothers and I were staying here, and I've already gotten bitten by two of the vampire boys! I saw Shuu lying on the couch and not too far from it, I saw Belphie sleeping. I wonder what Belphie's dreaming about. I looked away from him and saw Shuu. He had his ear buds in, so maybe if I'm really quiet, he won't notice. I walked up to him quietly and observed him a little being careful. Meh, it was boring though. I'm better off looking at Belphie than this guy. Wait, does that sound creepy? I hope it doesn't! Well anyway, I started walking away when I felt someone grab my wrist. I look and see that Shuu was the one grabbing it. "You think you could spy on me and get away with it?" Asked Shuu.

"I wouldn't call it spying." I said, "I just saw Belphie in here and then I saw you."

"You were spying on the demon then as well, weren't you?" He asked.

"I wasn't spying on him. He sleeps in my room almost all the time so I'm used to him sleeping in anyplace he can sleep." I said.

"I can tell you're lying just by that look on your face." He said.

"Now you listen here you son of a b**ch, I don't know what goes on in that head of yours and I prefer not to know. Out of all the demon brothers, I have not spent a whole lot of time with Belphie. So I'm still getting to know him." I said, lowering my voice.

"You want to get closer to him, don't you?" Asked Shuu.

"What's that supposed to mean? He's my friend, and nothing more." I said.

"You sure about that?" He asked.

I then remembered the day I went back in time and Belphie killed the other me which is actually me...or the other way around. Would he do that to me though? No, we made amends a while ago to the point where I made a pact with him. Yet I could use him about now if this dude tries anything funny. "Let go of my arm." I said.

He sat up, then pushed me onto the ground! "H-hey!" I gasped, "What do you think you're doing?!"

"You're a piece of meat, so what do you think I'm doing?" He asked.

I tried to push him off me, but he grabbed my wrist again. "Who are you calling a piece of meat you...! Agh!"

He bit into my wrist! I need help! He parted from my wrist and went straight into my neck! I felt the pain grow as it was near one of the other places I was bitten. I opened my eyes, only to see the twins a short distance away, and they did not look happy. "Beel...Belphie!" I gasped.

Beel charged towards Shuu and ripped him off me. Belphie helped me stand up. "Are you okay Mc?" Asked Belphie.

Beel pushed Shuu to the ground and I climbed onto Beel. "This isn't a good environment right now." Said Beel, "Let's take you to your room."

[In my room]

"What all just happened?" Asked Belphie, "One moment I fell asleep, then I see that guy drink your blood!"

Beel examined my wrist. "Looks like it hurt." He said.

"Vampires have two fangs, right?" Asked Belphie.

"Yeah." I said, "Why?"

"Why are there three punctures on your neck?"

Oh no! One of them must have ripped open after Shuu bit me! Beel frowned at me and said, "Did another one of those guys bite you, Mc?"

Now they know. "Alright." I said, "Two of the others bit me."

"Two of them?!" Exclaimed Belphie.

"I won't let whoever did this eat!" Said Beel.

"Wait, don't do anything!" I said.

"Why not?" Asked Belphie.

"I'm trying not to stir up Lucifer's attention about this." I said.

"We've been here for two days and he hasn't found out yet?" Asked Belphie, "How long can this concealer last on your skin?!"

Belphie wiped a small bit off. "I use setting powder to make it last longer and doesn't come off as much." I said.

"Well, setting powder may not be enough." Said Beel.

"I just gotta let these heal and I'll apply another layer." I said.

Beel grabbed a tissue and put it on my wrist. "This will make the bleeding stop." Said Beel.

"Thank you guys so much." I said, "You're the sweetest twins I've ever met."

I was soon in between the two, and they gave me a warm hug.
