James: I wish we didn't have to worry about being caught out at night. Like imagine if we didn't have to hide or anything whenever Filch comes around!
Sirius: That'd be epic!
Remus: Yeah, but we'd have to be able to convince Professor McGonagall
Peter: I borrowed the school rules book from the library a few days ago for some inspiration. I found a new addition which states "section one a: Stags, dogs, wolves and rats are not allowed in the castle grounds.
James: *laughing uncontrollably*
Sirius: *cackling like a hyena*
Remus: *totally giggling*
James: that's hilarious. Can you find the exact rule about students being up and about at night?
Peter: *turning pages*
Remus: Accio rule on students out of bed! *page flies to his hand*
SIrius: *mock horror* That is a LIBRARY BOOK, young man!
Remus: *shrugs* Anyway, the rule book states that no student may be out of bed at night. If they need the toilet, we recommend going wherever you like and vanishing it. Emergencies are the only exception.
James: So the only bit about not going out at night says that we can't leave our beds?
Sirius: I think I've found a loophole! Boys, get out your wands!

Filch: *walks around corner*
Sirius, Remus, James and Peter: *Remus levitating all three of their beds down the corridor while the others have a pillow fight, yelling and screaming*
Filch: STUDENTS OUT OF BED!!!! STUDENTS IN THE CORRIDOR!!!!
James: But sir, we aren't out of bed!
Filch: You're coming straight to McGonagall, you are!

Professor McGonagall: *Is sleeping soundly when is woken by a knock on her door. Comes to the door in fluffy slippers and a dressing gown*
Professor McGonagall: *does a double take at the sight of Filch towing four beds which are being levitated by the worst troublemakers in school*
James: Good evening, Professor.
Filch: These students were OUT OF BED and IN THE CORRIDORS!
Professor McGonagall: *trying not to crack up* Well, Argus, as you can see, they are not actually out of bed, and the school rule books does not say anything about being in the corridors, only that students must stay in bed.
Filch: *fuming*

Frank and Arthur: *Waking up to find four of the beds in their dorm missing* What the HELL!!??

McGonagall: *pleased that somebody finally found the loophole she created when editing the rulebook*
