"Bitch go fly a dick and leave me to my business". Zairea, one of Emily's friends she met while in Spain, whipped out while lying on her living room sofa. Emily had just told her that one flight to Zairea's mother's house wouldn't be so bad if they'd all got an excuse to be beach bums in Cordoba for two weeks.
Even better, Emily would be miles away from her own mother, who was still in the states. "Oh I will, next week when I'm off". Prentiss slyly sat and folded her legs while sending a devilish grin toward her good friend. This made Mariana shoot her head up from the bowl of fruity pebbles she was devouring for dinner and send Emily a questioning glare, her dark brown eyes narrowing with each second.
"The one upstairs who we saw in the Avatar t-shirt last week"? At this point her friend's face was scrunched with surprise and anger. "I Told you I was going to talk to him", she whined loudly.
Prentiss scrunched her nose and smiled. "Mmmh, too late now. He'll be Avatar-in this pussy next Tuesday so..". Emily barely got a chance to finish her sentence before Mariana shot up from the kitchen table and chased Emily into her own bedroom, Prentiss landing on the bed first, then Mariana last on top of her. The two of them giggled when Emily shouted into the living room for help.
"Are we gone watch the movie or just sit here watching you two hoes fight over Avatar dick all night"? Mahalia, Emily's friend and old classmate from Yale interjected as she walked in the bedroom to steal the hot Cheetos she knew would be in Emily's night stand. Mariana gave her friend one last slap on the shoulder and climbed off the bed, still mumbling.
"I don't know hun, is it fair to expect his di"... Emily was cut off by her phone buzzing on her dresser. All three women rolled their eyes, knowing they wouldn't be able to have a movie night with all of them there for once. "Prentiss". Emily said into the phone as her two friends quietly exited the room to give her space. JJ was on the other end of the line, letting Emily know they had to be in Atlanta in a few hours for a new case. "I'll be there". She hung up the phone and joined her three friends in the living room.
Zairea looked up at her from the sofa and rolled her eyes. They always ended up having to do things without Emily because of her job. While they all knew and understood that this was the career Emily chose and wanted her to excel in, they still wished they had more time to be with their friend for once. It was no secret that she was close with her team as well, which was to be expected since they spent almost all of their time on cases together.
But Zairea still didn't feel wrong about wanting to be selfish with her friend who was like a sister. Emily sensed this frustration in her, and flopped down on the sofa, landing a hard kiss on Zairea's forehead. That was all that needed to be exchanged between the two of them as Emily said her goodbyes to her three best friends, who would watch Zootopia without her. with her go bag, she headed to the BAU to be briefed on their newest case.
