"How the hell does a whole town fit in a donkey?", Dereck questioned Reid, who was patiently trying to explain the first season of Doom Patrol to him, yet still failing. "The bad guy's also the narrator and controls this universe.

So technically, he can send the town wherever he wants", Reid explained for the second time. Rossie and Hotch were still at the register ordering their pizza, while the rest of them sat at a large round table waiting.

Dereck's phone vibrated with a text message then, giving him an excuse to end their conversation. He quickly opened his phone and saw a text message from Emily, raising his brows at the video she sent. There she was, both her hands intertwined above her head while she danced in a low squat position.

The black basketball shorts she wore let her move freely, while she pulled her hair up with her fingers to show her curves more. For a short moment, he was mesmerized at the way her hips rolled at the beat.

Just then Rossi and Hotch approached behind him carrying a large pizza, also seeing the video on Dereck's phone from where he was. From their view, the woman on his phone had fair skin, and shoulder length dark hair – strongly resembling Emily herself.

The fact that he would have a video of her dancing like that could be an entire scandal, though Hotch quickly reminded himself who Emily Prentiss was, and that she certainly wouldn't be caught dancing in that way. Rossi, however, knew better than to rule out the unimaginable.

"Pizza everybody", Hotch spoke up as the two of them sat down and placed the large pizza at the center. Everyone instantly grabbed their share and continuing what conversation had been going, with the exception of Dereck still looking at his phone. He was a mixture of surprised and turned on by the video shared with him. "Texting a special someone, Dereck?", Reid spoke up, noticing Dereck's relative silence.

This made Dereck instantly shoot his head up to look at Reid, feigning an innocent look on his face. "Someone's got a girlfriend", JJ chimed in teasingly, looking for a reaction out him.

"Very funny guys, but I don't have a girlfriend", Dereck replied, pursing his lips in annoyance.

"Oh? Then who was that on your phone dancing just then?", Rossi countered, meeting Hotch's knowing gaze. With that the entire table went into an uproar of "oooo's", smiling scandalously at Dereck. Dereck's eyes rolled to the heavens at each dramatic response, wishing the whole conversation would quickly end.

"Oh shoot, JJ!", Penelope quickly exclaimed, giving him hope that his with came true. "That means we have two cases of romance in the air!", she spoke excitedly to the woman seated at her side, both of them high fiving each other.

"Who's the other case?", Reid asked, confused. "Business, fellas, business", JJ replied smugly, taking a long sip of her lemonade. Dereck, however, was sure he knew exactly who they were talking about.

Earlier, he had decided to eavesdrop a little outside of JJ's office as soon as Emily had closed the door. He didn't hear much, only bits and pieces, but was sure her heard the name Valquez followed by feminine laughter from the three women.

He walked away from JJ's office door pissed, to say the least. He knew that Valquez himself had a thing for Emily but could assure himself that it was one sided until now. Dereck remembered the way the detective looked at Emily during their case in Texas, the small gestures, and the way his hand always found itself at the small of her back when he walked with her. It was infuriating.

Emily, however, hadn't shown any sign that she felt the same way for him. That is, until today. "Don't tell me you're talking about that Valquez dude we met in Texas", Dereck mumbled rolling his eyes.
