***DYLAN'S POV***

We both agreed that we wanted to have our honeymoon as soon as possible, so the day following our wedding, we packed and left for our honeymoon destination.

Cupid was the one who decided where we would go since I didn't really know of any place, in particular, I wanted to visit. He hadn't disclosed any details, so I wasn't sure where we would end up.

Because neither of us knew how to drive, we decided that teleporting would be a better option. At first, I was worried about it since I was afraid we'd end up randomly appearing in front of people, but Cupid reassured me that it wouldn't happen. When we did teleport, we ended up outside, just as I feared.

"Oh my god, why would you teleport us out here in the open?! The workers saw us!" I freaked out.

"Calm down, calm down, this is a special island, these are my people, they know I'm Eros," he chuckled.

I was silent for a second before I took in a deep breath, "You know, it would have been great to know that before teleporting so that I wouldn't have worried so much."

"But that wouldn't be fun, you're so adorable when you're upset!" He put both hands on either side of my face and squished it.

I removed his hands and pouted.

"See? Adorable, now let's go get a section."

When the lady said our section was section 7, I thought it was a weird way of saying room, but it turns out that it is a whole little house, in fact, a whole little section of the place we were at.

This place was an island, I was surprised Cupid was bold enough to choose a place with water since I never really liked to swim. This time might be different though, since the water was clear, and I could see what was around me, plus, we were the only ones in this area.

We left the apartment in the afternoon, so the sun was already setting, and it was going to be dark soon. The sky was a mix of gold, purple, orange, and pink which was a nice match to the colors of the island. The lights outside turned on, making the small house in the corner look nicer.

"Let's go inside, I want to see what's in the house," I said, walking towards it, bringing my luggage along.

***

The inside of the house was cozy, it was decorated as if to mock a winter cabin. There was a kitchen and after some investigating, I found a fridge stocked with fresh food and snacks.

Damn, this is a nice place.

When we put our luggage in the room, we decided to go watch a movie in the living room. There was a variety of choices, luckily, we decided on a romantic comedy so there would at least be something interesting about it.

We sat down together on the couch, this couch was way better than the one we had at the apartment, it was super soft and comfortable.

Thirty minutes into the movie, popcorn had been made, and we were no longer paying attention to the TV screen. Instead, we were busy trying to see who could catch the most popcorn into their mouths. So far, I was winning.

"How the hell are you so good at this?!" Cupid took the bowl away from me, protecting it.

I smell a sore loser.

"Maybe it's just natural talent," I shrugged with a victory grin plastered on my face.

"Okay, okay, I bet I can make it in your mouth," Cupid declared.

I thought about it.

Well, he's been doing pretty bad at this the whole time...I have a shot at winning, why not?

"Deal," we shook on it.

He grabbed the popcorn and I moved back so that it wasn't too easy for him. I opened my mouth, and he looked like he was aiming it. Just when I thought he was going to throw it, he simply stretched out his hand and placed it in my mouth.

"Made it," he smiled at me.

I sat there for a moment processing what he just did, then came back to earth, "That doesn't count!"

"Yes it does, technically I made it in your mouth," he explained.

"No, absolutely not, you were supposed to throw it," I crossed my arms.

"I never said I would, so, can I choose my prize now?"

"There is no prize for cheaters like you," I shook my head and turned my attention to the TV.

"Cheater? Wow, seems like someone is a sore loser," he mumbled, focusing on the TV as well.

A sore loser?

"Fine, what do you want? I'm no sore loser," I crossed my arms.

"How about a kiss?" he gave me a sweet, innocent smile.

Two can play this game, Cupid.

"Okay, close your eyes," I put a hand on the side of his face and got closer to him.

He closed his eyes and puckered his lips. I leaned forward and kissed his cheek.

"There," I let go and went back go my old seating position.

"Wh—What?! That wasn't—"

"You asked for a kiss and I delivered, is there a problem?" I rose an eyebrow.

He huffed, "No, thank you, I am grateful."

I turned away from him to hide my smile.

Not so sly now, huh?

"Is something amusing? Care to share, smiley?" Cupid appeared in front of me with his hands on his hips and an unpleasant look on his face.

"What's amusing is that my husband got played with his own trick and can't accept it," I faked a sigh.

"Now you've done it," he pounced on me and attacked me with kisses as we laughed.

The next day we swam in the water until the evening and then went back to the house where we put on some music and danced. The day after that, we went for a walk around the place and later settled on a shady area and ate there, enjoying each other's company and the sounds of the waves along with the singing birds and buzzing insects.

Before we knew it, the days quickly dwindled down and our honeymoon was nearing its end.

We were laying in bed talking about how much we enjoyed the time we had here.

"You know, I'm glad it was you, Cupid," I sighed happily.

He chuckled.

"What's funny?" I felt a blush on my face.

"It's just that you wouldn't have admitted it a couple of years ago," he turned to fully face me. "Can you believe we're married? I'm the happiest I've ever been, and I hope you are too."

I covered my flushed face, "I'm basically over the moon," I mumbled.

He wrapped his arms around me tightly, "You're all mine now, and I'm all yours."

"Life is a lot warmer when I'm with you Cupid, I'm excited to see where our life together goes," I hugged him back.

"I love you," he kissed my cheek.

"And I love you too."
