After he had put a name to good-morning-girl's face, he began seeing her everywhere. It was almost freaky.
From the dining hall to the library, even the new donut shop.
And speaking of her...
Her platinum locks were like a magnet to his eyes. But something was off today, there's no good morning.
Odd.
Maybe the stares did get to her after all.
There had been whispers in the class here and there. It's hard not to when a girl who often sat silently alone in the back, rarely even showed up, suddenly made it her life goal to greet everybody in the morning.
Especially a girl that half the faculty wasn't even aware existed. Almost like she popped out of nowhere
He glanced around the class, no one else seems to notice or care that she didn't say good morning. Maybe he was a little too invested in this stranger's life.
The door opened again, and in stepped the professor, his hair looking a mess and sweat lining his forehead.
"Good afternoon class, sorry I was running a bit late."
The professor pulled down the overhead.
"Let's get started now shall we?"
Just at that moment, the door banged open once again and a student quickly rushed in.
Felix, 5'7, dance team member and Eric's other best friend, flashed an apologetic smile to the class.
"Over here," Eric mouthed at his friend as he waved to get his attention.
Felix noticed him right away and headed over.
"Did I miss anything?" He asked as he sets down his bag.
"No, not really."
You missed the good-morning-girl not saying good morning, he wanted to tell him, but he kept it to himself. If he said it out loud, Felix would think he was crazy.
Eric thought he might just be a little crazy himself.
