Izuku's POV
I woke up to see a white ceiling.I looked around and dreaded what I saw.
"Hospital,"I groaned still after all these years I've still not gotten I've my distain for hospitals.Sure their helpful but the chemical smell throws me for a loop.I again looked around and saw Shoto, asleep on a chair with his chin resting against his hand.I tried sitting up but felt a sharp pain in hand and shoulder I winced and I felt my body tense up so much I was about to fall over.Shoto caught me before I could hit the floor.
"Izuku relax, your hurt, lay down,"Shoto commanded and my omega obeyed submissively.
"What happened?Where's Riku?Is he okay?!"I said and Shoto held my hand.
"Don't worry, the people involved got arrested thanks to you, and Riku was treated for his injuries and is recovering although he's been asleep for most of this time,"Shoto explained and I tried getting up but Shoto pushed me down.
"I need to see him!"I tried not to whin as he pushed me back on the bed.
"You still haven't fully recovered you'd pass out from either lack of blood from opening your wounds or from the pain.Wait until your fully recovered until you see him."Shoto said and I huffed in annoyance but stayed put Boeing full well Shoto wouldn't allow me to.
"What about Kiyo?"I asked in a defeated voice.
"He's with Aizawa and Mic, they'll be coming in an hour...their worried about you, you've been asleep for 2 2'days, so has Riku,"Shoto said and I nodded.
"I'm sorry for worrying you,"I said and Shoto smiled
"It's okay, Izu you should rest I'll wake you once Mic, Aizawa, and Kiyo get here, okay?"He asked and I nodded already feeling my eyes close.

1 week later

"You've recovered fully, you'll be discharged tomorrow evening."The doctor announced to me
"Um...could I see my son then?"I asked and the doctor nodded.
"Yes, That is fine, I'll give you the room number and you can go,"The doctor said as he wrote down the room number before leaving me.
"Room #305"I whispered before someone came in.
"Mind if I join you?"Shoto asked before he gave me some sweet tea.
"Um sure...thanks.."I said before drink the sweet liquid.And at that when I was ready which was 10 minutes later Shoto came with me to room#305 to see Riku.We knocked on the door before walking in.Riku was asleep his chest bandaged up and I felt my legs move forward before collapsed by his bedside."Has he woken up?"I asked
"Only a couple of times but after that he went back to sleep...the doctors say his body is trying to gather strength so he can heal fully...they say it'll take a couple days before he wakes up,"Shoto explained and I felt tears slid down my face.Shoto kneeled next to me and held me.

The next day I was discharged but it took everything to leave Riku.But after a couple days we were told that he had woken up.
"Riku!"I yelled as I stormed in and I saw Riku looking out of the window in his hospital bed.
"Mom?"He asked before he turned his gaze to me.
"Riku...are you okay?Dose anything hurt?"I asked and he stiffened before he nodded.
"I'm okay...I feel fine...nothing hurts, I guess,"He shrugged.
"That's good...you've been asleep for...for a long time...do you remember anything,"
"Not much, just flashes..."He said and I smiled.
"I'm just glad your okay,"I said and Riku nodded.
"How's Kiyo,"He asked and his eyes shined, his alpha is coming out.
"He's okay, he's with Aizawa and Mic,"I said he sighed in relief.
"Good,"He smiled
"Riku did something happen between you two?"I asked and his eyes flickered.
"Um...just a bonding moment..."he said looking away slightly."He'll tell you eventually,"Riku said with a shrug."When will I be discharged?"Riku asked us.
"Um...in a couple days maybe a week at most we'll have to talk to your doctor Riku,"Shoto said and he nodded.
"Thank you,"he whispered and we snapped our gazes to him.
"For what?"I asked with a small smile
"For saving us,"He whispered
"We're your parents of course we'd save you,"Shoto said
"Thank you...I don't know what I would have done if he got hurt...if he wasn't able to tell you guys,"He whispered before leaning on me and Shoto.
"It's okay...shh...shh..it's okay.."I whispered
"Your okay,"

Once Riku was discharged we all greeted him home.We all celebrated eatkng pizza and drinking soda, celebrating Riku's return to us.We all agreed to watch tv but we didn't expect our world to shatter.We stumbled on to the news but before we could scroll along breaking news hit us like a rock.

"Breaking news, a criminal named Dabi has escaped from jail he was charged with human trafficking, sexual assault, kidnapping, and theft.Anyone who see's this man, please tell your local authorities and don't make contact!"The news reporter said and I felt my stomach turn and my eyes widen and I couldn't tell if I was dreaming or if this nightmare was reality.

And it was....this was my reality
