IF EVER
We are lying together,
When she suddenly speak,
She faced me and randomly ask...
"What if this will be my last day in here?"
I was bothered by her question so I turned to her and replied,
"If ever, I will be sad for sure, I may cry and won't forget you."
Then, she smiled at me, "If ever this will be my last day in here, I just want to tell you that I love you and please tell my parents that I love them so much and I am sorry for all the bad things I did to them, and tell my brother to change and take care of my parents, and also tell my sister that I am thankful and lucky to have her in my life. Tell her that I love her as if she was my best buddy in this world even I am a burden to her most of the times. Tell my family that I love them so so much even if I don't show it. I know it's useless but please tell them. They won't believe me anyway."
While hearing her speak, my tears started to fall, and I think she is saying goodbye, I don't want to let her go, but what choice do I have?
So, instead of replying to her, I grab her and hugged her tightly then kiss her.
After the kiss she said she's already sleepy, so I guide her head in my lap, while looking at the sky
Right there and then, I know that she will bid her farewell.
After a few minute, it became silent, until I can't hear her breathe anymore.
I was left there crying my heart out.
Then, after that day, she left me,
And here I am, still looking at the sky missing her terribly, for the rest of my life.
