To all the girls and guys that the society made cry
Because of gossips about your life they want to pry
Leaving you with a heavy heart and deep sigh,
Look in the sky, and feel the warmth up high.
I know their harsh words made cuts to your soul
I also know it hurts as if you were struck with a sword,
I am aware of those emotions you felt
Like your heart's gonna melt,
Not because of happiness, but because of too much pain.
To all the girls and guys hurting and in the verge of breaking down,
Look into my eyes, and you'll see that you're not the only one,
You're not the only one who thought of giving up
You're not the only one who's having a hard time
You're not the only one who is messed inside
You're not the only one who can't forgive themselves
You're not the only one who fails everyday...
So, don't beat up yourself, we have our own pace and race
And avoid looking on someone's else life, because we'll never be satisfied.
Just be yourself, imperfectly surviving every battlefield in front of us,
And be the girls and guys who don't easily cry,
But just moving forward every day even with all the scars.
