Chapter 15

Will POV

Wedding planning. It's so much more difficult than I ever thought it would be! It's been 2 months since the proposal and it's all we can talk about. We plan to get married 4 months from now, on October 18th. We've decided the venue, guest list, and theme colors. We still have to get her dress, my suit, the menu, cake, band, flowers, and the marriage license.

I'm sitting at the table with her going through flower samples. "Love? How do you feel about this one?" Y/n asks.

I look over at what she's talking about and it's breathtaking. I mix of various colors of (favorite flower) with some sunflowers. Our wedding colors are (favorite color), yellow, and grey. "I love them" I say through a smile.

"So it's decided?"

"It's decided." I shake her hand to make the agreement 'formal'.

*2 months later*

Y/n POV

We've finally done it. Everything is planned. We have everything except for my dress. I'm out with Annabeth shopping for it. She brought her 4 year old daughter Macie. She's 5 months pregnant with their second baby.

We've been looking for so long. I've tried on over 20 dresses when we stumble across the perfect one.

"Auntie y/n!" Macie squeals.

"Yes sweetheart?"

"I like that one!"

I look to see what she's pointing at and my jaw drops. It's a strapless A-line white dress with some small details. It's absolutely perfect.

I find the dress in my size and try it on. I look at myself in the mirror and can't believe my eyes. This is the one. I've never felt more beautiful than I do right now. The woman who's been helping me leads me out to show Annabeth.

I step onto the platform and turn to see Annabeth. "So," I say "what do you think?"

"I-it's perfect," she stutters with tears in her eyes.

"Auntie y/n you look like a princess!" Macie yells in excitement.

Without another question, I buy it. This is the dress. This is what I'm getting married in. Will is going to love it.

Next on the agenda, we have to get Macie her flower girl dress. Annabeth's bridesmaid dress has already been bought.

Macie's good dress taste has finished for the day, so Beth and I are looking while she plays on my phone.

I pull a pale yellow dress with a poofy skirt and a (favorite color) bow around the waist. "What do you think?" I ask Macie and her mom.

"I'll be a princess!" Macie yells.

"Perfect, good find!" Beth says to me and goes to buy it.

That's all the shopping planned for the day, so I take Beth and Macie home. Then go back to Will at our apartment.

I open the door and go to hug him. His arms wrap around me and I sink into them.

Will POV

Holding y/n in my arms after a long day is my absolute favorite thing. I kiss her, she kisses back. We could stay like that forever. We go to the couch and kiss for a few minutes, talk about our days, then go to make dinner together.

We made taco bowls. I personally thought they were great, and I think y/n agreed. After dinner we clean the kitchen. "Will" she says.

"What?"

"We need to clean the entire place."

I look around and sure enough, she's right. Neither of us like cleaning but it has to be done at some point.

"You're right."

We finish the kitchen, then go the laundry. We're lucky enough to have a washer and dryer in our place, so I get the first load started. She works on the bathrooms, I work on the living room. We never really put anything into the guest room, so there isn't really a point to doing that. 

We work for 3 hours and finally, the place is clean, laundry is folded and put away, we did it.

"We really need to start doing that more often" I admit.

"You're right. Let's make it a weekly thing, okay?"

I nod. "I'm gonna go take a shower and go to sleep. I'm tired and have the early shift at work so I have time for class."

"Okay. I love you" she gives me a kiss.

I kiss back.

Our nights are beautiful. Our time together is amazing. 2 more months and we're married.
Y/n Solace. I like the sound of that.
