Will POV

A year. A year. A year. I continue saying this to myself in my head, trying to believe it's been that long. I guess when you're happy, time flies by. I'm 17. (Y/n) 16. And it's been a year.

She's taught me so much. She taught me that there are some girls that are smart, gorgeous, funny, and great kissers. She taught me another great thing. She taught me love. Real love. I haven't told her yet. I'm too scared that she won't say it back. That she doesn't love me. I tried a couple days ago but chickened out at the last minute. Today I was going to tell her. For real this time. Maybe.

~a few hours later~

Your POV

I was running around my cabin in attempt to get ready for my date with Will tonight. At one time, I was trying to do my hair, makeup, and put on shoes. Let's just say it wasn't going so well. I checked the time. Crap. 5:30. Will was supposed to be here at 6:00 and I was nowhere near being done.

I guess I looked as stressed as I was because Percy was starting to look concerned. "(Y/n)," he said softly, "are you...okay?" I smiled. "Yeah. I have a date in half an hour," I said as I continued to get ready, "an anniversary date, actually." He simply nodded and left the cabin to give me my space.

I just realized that I haven't seen Will all day. Wow. And on our anniversary too. I got ready as fast as humanly possible. I was done. 5:59. Just on time. Then I waited. About 3 minutes later there was a knock on the door. I answered it and smiled. My complete dork of a boyfriend was standing there with my favorite flowers and grinning from ear to ear. "Hello my love," He said and then kissed me. I kissed back. He pulled away and he dragged me across the camp to my favorite spot. The dock.

Will POV

I held (y/n)'s hand as we sat on the dock and watched the lake stir. I kissed her cheek. "I have something to tell you..." I whispered into her ear. She smiled softly, "Shoot." I took a deep breath. "(Y/n)(L/n) I love you to Olympus and back." I sat there waiting for her to answer. She smiled and threw her arms around my neck. "I love you too, Sunshine."

The rest of the night was absolutely perfect. Talking, eating, kissing. Perfect. And I was with my girl. That's what made it great. One year. One full year. 525,600 minutes. 365 days. 56 weeks.
