Chapter 11

Will POV

Winter break is finally here. (Y/N) is back with me for 2 weeks. But only 2 weeks. Instead of being sad about it, I'm going to make the best of it and make it the best 2 weeks ever for the both of us. It's night now, about 9pm. We're at the campfire, (Y/N)'s head on my chest, my arm around her shoulders. "Hey, love?" I whisper.

"Mhm?" She responds sleepily. Slowly moving a bit closer to me.

I know she's tired. I pick her up and carry her to the Poseidon cabin. Once I get there I set her down. She smiles softly "I love you."

"I love you too" I whisper before kissing her goodnight, and going to my own cabin.

~the next morning~

(Y/N) POV

I wake up to Percy shaking me and whisper-screaming "Fooooooood!"

I glare at him. I love food but I also love sleep. So the decision I have to make is very hard. "What kind?" I yawn.

"What does it matter, Will's there." As soon as I hear his name I get up and dressed. My brother laughs at me. I stick my tongue out at him and then run to the dining pavilion. I see him.

"Will!" I call out, while running over to him. I get there and hug him. He wraps his arms around me. Instantly a sense of relief comes over me and I feel so much better than before.

Sadly, after the long embrace, we have to part and go to our assigned tables. So that's exactly what we do. Go, get food, put some in the fire, and eat with our siblings.

After all that is over, it's time for us to hang out for a while. So, Will and I go and lay in the strawberry fields. It may be December, but it's camp. So, it's warm as usual. "I hate living so far away" I say looking into his perfect blue eyes.

"I know. I hate it too. Only one more year though, then we don't have to be apart anymore. Ever. That's the plan, right?"

"Of course it is. It always has been. Nothing's changed."

"Good."

I hold onto him. My head on his shoulder. And in that moment, I know everything will be okay. I know I'm going to be alright. And I know that promise we made is going to me true no matter what.

And hey, tomorrow's Christmas Eve. And I get to spend Christmas with my boy. And for me, it doesn't get better than that.

Okay, so I know this is short and that I haven't updated in FOREVER and I'm so sorry. Life gets in the way sometimes, but I am doing the best I can. I'm trying to update as much as I can.

But holy crap, THREE THOUSAND READS??????? WHAT?????? This is insane and I'm so thankful for every single one of you.
