Oh, how I wish I was the TV,
Then my parents, would spend more time with me.
Staring me down and listening,
You would think I was hypnotizing.I wish I was the smartphone.
Five hours per day Mama would spend with me, alone.
Texting and facetiming;
I really wish, I was that entertaining.Mama, Papa, I long to be Facebook,
Ten thousand likes per day, just look.
Instead of widespread misunderstanding,
You would believe everything I was saying.Papa, I wish I was the car,
I'd get more attention than God, by far.
Your money you'd spend on me.
Not one scratch would anybody see.Sadly I'm none of those things.
I have updates and a storyline that's constantly changing.
Invest in me and the rewards you'll see,
Because, to this world, I'm your legacy.By Candy Benn
