Y/n pov

"I wonder what we'll be doing.." I muttered to both Togata and Amajiki.
"I h-hope its nothing too bad.." I heard Amajiki say nervously.
"I sure its just some simple training. Getting right to work!" Togata smiled.
"Yeah.."

..

"Everyone get in a line. L/n, step up to the circle." Aizawa instructed.

Huh? Are we gonna throw a ball like in middle school??

I stepped in front of my class, standing in the circle and waiting for more instruction.
"I want you to throw this ball as far as you can. You can use your quirk however you want. In middle school they wouldn't let you, but it's different here at UA." Our teacher continued explaining.

I heard my classmates murmuring words of excitement to each other, and immediately began thinking of how I could use my quirk.

I have an idea.

I dropped the ball at my feet, confusing a few students. I then kneeled down and touched the ground, activating my quirk and staring down at the pink light that shined from my palm and fingertips.

From the area I touched, a giant chunk of the dirt ground sprouted up, shaping itself into a big fist. A few gasps were heard from the little crowd, but I stayed concentrated on my plan.

The hand gently picked up the ball, and gripped it tightly before letting it fly through the air with a mighty throw.

I watched as the ball broke through a cloud, the wind howling slightly as its path curved back down- hitting the ground with a thump.

Not too bad..

"506 meters!" A robotic voice yelled.

hm, not bad at all..

Satisfied with my score, I turn back to the group with a smile. Togata was the first to make a comment to me.

"Wow L/n! Thats a nice quirk!" He complimented. I winked at him, replying
"Oh, I can do much more than that."

Togatas eyebrows raised at my statement, looked surprised by this- and slightly curious. "Really? Guess I'll see for myself." He shrugged.

"Each of you will be taking multiple tests of your abilities. Use your quirks to your advantage, and no slacking. The person who does the worst goes home and doesn't come back." Aizawa deadpanned- and I almost choked on air.

Doesn't come back?!

The group went dead silent as he said this, until one boy finally spoke up.

"Thats so unfair! We just got here!"

As Mr. Aizawa went off about how life isn't fair, I thought about what kind of tests we would be taking.

There was no way I would be going home today. However, it became clear to me someone wasn't necessarily thinking as confident, because Amajiki was already shaking violently.

"Im sure you'll do great." I assured, and Amajiki looked up, slightly surprised by my sudden words.

"O-oh.. thanks." He whispered. I saw his cheeks turn slightly pink as he just looked back down, still shaking.

Well, he might still be shaking but at least its not as much a before.

..

After a few more throws from my impressive classmates, it was finally Amajikis turn. Trembling like crazy, he slowly made his way over to the circle. A few seconds went by, and the boy was either thinking of how to use his quirk, or simply trying to calm himself down.
