Drowning in despair,

I feel like I'm being choked.

What is this sensation?

This lack of oxygen in the air

Trapped in this seemingly never-ending nightmare

Feeling like no one gives a care

Struggling.

That's what I am.

Someone, please...

Listen to my pleas

And reach out a helping hand

'Cause right now I'm absolutely helpless

Maybe I'm meant to be broken.

To stay like this forever.

There's no hope in sight

Not one saving prayer

But I'm still trying to hold on

In case you'd still care.
