A/N
SORRY FOR THE LATE UPDATE GUYS, I WAS AWAY FOR A BIT. HOPE YOU ENJOY THE CHAPTER.
THANKS THE_BLOOD_MOON OUT.
Once we were out of the room we stopped running and returned to walking, thank god, if this keeps happening regular basis I will definitely need to train.
“Where are we going now?” I asked.
“To the Dorm rooms, or at least that’s what Cade screamed out three minutes ago in front of Taylor so now she knows where to find and kill us” said Jordan without a single breath.
“It was a rush of the moment statement, besides, I’m sure Faye is looking ford to getting out of here” Cade replied as I nodded my head.
“Okay, fine, let’s go” surrendered Jordan as we all walked over to a singular door and walked through it.
The door led out onto a grass field and across the grass was several buildings. When I looked back at the building I had left I was shocked to see that an incredibly run down old garden shed was in its place.
“What the?” I stammered.
“Don’t worry. No one else but the six of us can enter that place. If anyone else opens that door, they walk inside the old shed not the building we just left” explained Cade.
“Six?” I questioned.
“Yep, there is you, me, Jordan, Declan, Taylor and Harley who you haven’t met yet. You will probably see him later. He isn’t much to look at. He is tall, muscly and doesn’t speak much so don’t get to excited” said Cade.
“Are you guys coming or not?” screamed Jordan from the other side of the field.
“Coming!” Cade and I yelled back in unison.
We decided to take me on a tour of my new school another day and simply jumped the fence to walk along the foot path on the side of the road. We walked through about two quite streets before reaching what Cade and Jordan had announced as ‘home sweet home’.
It was an apartment building with a drive way leading down to the front door. The building was fairly modernized with new aged architectural design and build. On the inside it looked like an expensive upper class apartment.
“Home sweet home” beamed Cade.
“I guess so” I replied.
“Everything is downstairs, apart from the bedrooms. Your bedroom is through the door with the number 4 on it” Jordan explained.
“You can go check it out if you like”
“Thanks”
My room was of average size. It had a double bed, a desk, a wardrobe and a mirror along one of the walls but it had no windows. Not even a small one. Also, my room was one of fourteen others. Just how many of us were there?
I heard some voices that weren’t Jordan’s or Cade’s so I went down stair to see who was there.
It was Taylor and Declan. The four of them were standing around the living room when I got downstairs.
“Was your room alright?” Jordan asked.
“Yeah” I replied.
“Hey Faye, it’s good to see you again. I’m Taylor, remember?”
“Yeah I remember, it’s nice to meet you properly” I smiled.
“Declan, how did you get Faye to come here with you?” asked Taylor
“Well, after she tried to kiss me, she fell for my good looks and charming personality then followed me back here” Declan bragged.
“I was told you poisoned her” Interrupted Jordan
“Then I guess that’s just how it feels to look at someone as handsome as me”
“The poison was toxic, I nearly died!” I exclaimed
“Then I guess you would have died seeing something beautiful. You should be grateful you know, not many people do”
“That’s horrible” murmured Jordan
“Wait, she tried to kiss you?” asked Cade
“Who doesn’t?”
“I guess I was wrong about you gorgeous” smirked Cade
“Why would you want to kiss him?” spat Jordan
“He bumped into me and our faces hit, I didn’t actually kiss him”
“That’s what they all say” spoke Taylor as she rolled her eyes.
“Yeah, you girls should at least try to make up better excuses” said Cade.
“But it isn’t an excuse” I said
“Someone’s in denial” teased Declan.
“Don’t worry Faye, I believe you” spoke Taylor.
“Yeah, so do we” sneered Jordan.
“Yeah right” I laughed as I threw a cushion at him.
The apartment door swung open with a frightening bang. An angry faced boy soon walked in. His fists were clenched and his knuckles slightly bruised.
“Harley” Taylor stammered.
“Harley, I was wondering when you would turn up. I’ve been looking around for you for hours” said Declan.
“Taylor can you grab the first aid kit, he might have hurt himself again” Jordan ordered.
“I’m fine” Harley snapped.
“Sit down, were checking anyway”
Harley growled but reluctantly sat down on the couch.
“Hold your hands out in front of you, flat”
Harley held out his hands as Taylor flipped them over checking for cuts. There was a nasty looking one on the outside of Harley’s left hand. Taylor spotted it and began to clean it up. Harley noticed that I was looking at him and gave me a look that could kill.
“Who is she” Harley hissed,
“I’m-“
“This is Faye, she is one of us”
“Who gave you your gift?”
“Artemis”
“Brilliant, we’ve got Athena, Apollo, Hephaestus, Aphrodite and I’m Ares. Welcome to the club” he mocked.
“I’m done Harley” Taylor sighed.
“Thank you. I’m gonna go to my room. Don’t come near me” He ordered as he stormed up the steps
“You should probably go to bed too” said Declan.
“Why?”
“You have an exam tomorrow” he calmly replied.
“What!” I cried.
“Don’t worry, it isn’t a big deal. Alison is going to make you run a few courses and test out a few different weapons to see what suits you most and what you are good at”
“That doesn’t really make me feel any better” I said nervously.
“We all had to do the same thing when we first arrived. You aren’t marked on it or anything it is just to see how your training courses should be operated so go get the best out of them. Or at least that’s what Alison blabs on about all the time” smiled Declan.
“I guess I should go to bed then” I sighed.
“Night” the others shouted in unison.
“Good night Faye” Declan whispered.
Wow, that boy really thinks that he is just it and a bit, doesn’t he?
