“Harley?” I questioned

I was wondering around the library with Cade. He was walking backwards a few steps in front of me. The library in the secret part of the school was amazing. The place was incredibly large with books stacked shelves high on row after row of long mahogany book cases.

“Yeah I know, it wasn’t the answer you were expecting but I’m telling the truth. If you want to know anything about Greek Mythology or even any other part of history, Harley’s the man. I thought it was really strange too but underneath his big, scary street fighter exterior, Harley is really just a major history nerd-“

“Do you want to repeat that?” bellowed a stern voice.

Cade had just walked into someone. He was to blame for walking backwards but sadly for Cade, he had bumped into Harley.

“Um, no?” coward Cade.

“Well then, you have some nerve talking about me when I am not around” Harley growled.

“We weren’t talking about you we were just….” Cade started.

Harley raised his eyebrow.

“It’s all Faye’s fault. She wanted to know about some Sissy- something guy and I told her you might know a thing about him” Cade blurted as he hid behind me and gripped onto my shoulders.

Harley to a step forward and began to open his mouth but stopped when Cade started screaming.

“Please don’t hurt me!” screamed Cade as he ran out of the library.

Harley sighed.

“I still don’t know if I should be grateful that he runs away from me or not”

I laughed nervously. I didn’t have anything against Harley, I just wasn’t sure what to think of all the scary stories I have heard about him.

“So, was Cade telling the truth when he said that you needed my help with something?” inquired Harley.

“Yes I’m looking for something that will give me information about a man called Sisyphus” I stammered.

“Greek Mythology, right” he asked.

I nodded.

Harley began to walk between the book shelves and I did the same.

“Why do you want to know more about Sisyphus?”

“Well Alison was talking to Jordan about him. Apparently there are rumours about Sisyphus and how he had found a way to escape his eternal punishment in Tartarus. By the way, what is Tartarus?” I asked.

Harley heaved two books off the very top shelf. He was very tall so it wasn’t a big stretch for him but I would have had to get a ladder to reach those books.

I continued to trail after Harley as he searched the library for one of the many small study tables found all over the library. Harley dropped the books on the table as we sat down opposite each other.

“When you say Tartarus, I am guessing that you are talking about the place. Tartarus is a deep chasm that is used as a dungeon of suffering and torment for the wicked. ‘As far below Hades as Earth is below the heavens’ Tartarus is the place were souls were judged after death and where the wicked were punished”
