        BECCA'S POV

        I heard the door to the roof open.

        "well that was quick- whoa you're not Dave" instead of Dave walking through the door a woman who looked to be about 7 months pregnant and the little boy, Zach, who I had met before stepped through the door.

        "Yes, I get that all the time" she joked an indulgent grin on her face.

        "Erm yeah sorry I just wasn't expecting you" I tried to explain as she walked toward me 

        "Don't worry I was only joking, I'm Rachel by the way, Dave's big sister" 

        "Hey, I'm Becca, Dave's-uhh-Dave's friend" I extended my arm as if to shake her hand, but she surprised me by pulling me into her arms for a hug. Her huge pregnancy belly was in the middle, and it got awkward quite fast. She pulled away just enough to see my face giving me a knowing smile. Why do people keep smiling at me like that!?

        "So you're the person Dave wanted me to meet"

        "See mommy, I told you she was the prettiest lady ever" Zach added in his cute baby voice. 

        "Besides you" he quickly amended. I laughed silently, he was too cute.

        "I see you guys have met" I didn't hear the rooftop door open but Dave was suddenly at my side. He looked down into my eyes and smiled at me a bit impishly.

        "I hope you don't mind but my sister and nephew will be joining us for breakfast- if that's alright with you of course" I shrugged carelessly, I didn't mind. Zach was adorable and Rachel seemed nice.

        "Yeah that's fine with me" I answered Dave. I thought I saw disappointment cloud his eyes but it was gone just as quick as it had come, and I thought I must have imagined it.

        "Okay let's eat” I now noticed Dave was holding a platter piled high with omelets that oozed cheese and veggies. My stomach growled in hunger.

        Dave placed his hand on my lower back and led me back to the seat I had vacated. He pulled out my chair for me and then slid me back in close to the table. what a gentleman.

        "Where's my special treatment" Rachel pouted adorably. Dave shook his head, but smiled at her and went to help her sit down.

        "Only cause I love you Rach"

        "You know you do" they seemed so close. I had always wished for a sibling when I was younger. When I was younger-No! I will not go down this dark road, not now when I'm about to have a lovely breakfast with Dave and his sister. must distract myself.

        "So when's the baby due?" Rachel's eyes lit up as soon as I said the word Baby.

        "2 months-in November, November 3 actually" she looked so excited I wondered why. She already had one kid, she knew what it was going to feel like to push this one out.

        “Do you know the sex yet?"

        "Yes I do, It's a girl. I'm so excited, she's going to be my little princess. I'm going to dress her in lots of pink, and tutu's and I'm going to put headbands and clips in her hair. And when she's older I'm going to teach her how to put on makeup, and she's going to have her first date. And then she's going to get married and she's going to have little babies and I’ll be a Nona-" at this point she started to cry.
