Midoriya Izuku grunted as his brows furrowed before he slowly opened his eyes and allow his vision to adjust to the brightness of his room before he started looking for his bearing and slammed a hand over his alarm to stop it from beeping.

Stretching his arms with a groan, Izuku sighed before looking out the window with a smile.

In the world he lives in, a secondary gender was determined once you reach the right age by taking a test. Through that test, your secondary will determine whether you are an Alpha, a Beta, or an Omega.

Alphas are mostly the dominant genders. They mostly are possessive of what belongs to them and are very protective of it. They populate only about 20% of the world. Izuku knows only a few alphas from his friends and classmates, one of them is his childhood friend Bakugo Katsuki.

Betas are the common type of genders. They don't differ much from a normal human being's anatomy but they do differentiate with them in some ways. Betas populate about half of the world's population and Izuku's mother, Inko, was one of them.

"Izuku? Are you awake?" His mother called from the other side of his door that came along with a light knock.

"Yes," Izuku answered before he got out of his bed.

The last gender is the Omegas-- the submissive gender and the Alpha's counterpart. In the past, Omegas are viewed to only be sex objects since all of them-- regardless if they are male or female-- have the ability to carry children. However, as time passes by, the world became civil and Omega auctions are now considered to just be a crime you'd happen to watch on the news on random nights.

"Good morning," Inko greeted as soon as Izuku arrived at the kitchen. "Go on and eat your breakfast, you'll be late for school,"

"Hai," Izuku answered.

"You sure you didn't forget anything?" Inko asked as Izuku shouldered his bag.

"Yes, mom, I already have everything even the lunch you prepared," Izuku snickered.

"How about your pills?"

Izuku stopped at his tracks before quietly answering yes, feeling the bottle of suppressants he had that were inside his pockets.

Despite being the inferior gender, Omegas populate about 30% of the world's total population. Common instances are Omegas giving birth to an Omega child, but there are instances wherein a Beta would give birth to an Omega child-- that rare instance occurred when Inko gave birth to her son and despite having both Betas as parents, Midoriya Izuku came out as an Omega.
