Izuku knocked on the door lightly before adjusting his tie that had been put on tighter than he had intended while he held a red medium-sized square jewelry box as he waited for the person inside the room to acknowledge his presence before he came in.
"Kacchan?" Izuku called as he reached for the knob and lightly twisted it-- finding the door unlocked. "M-may I come in?"
No response came from the other side of the door and Izuku took a deep breath as he finally decided to let him in. "Kacchan? Are you here?" he called as he slowly peeked through the small space the open door made and he found his childhood friend looking out at the window, deep in thought to even hear or acknowledge Izuku's presence.
Katsuki was wearing a cream-colored suit with the coat still neatly hanged and untouched-- revealing the white long-sleeved undershirt that was neatly tucked inside Katsuki's black slacks. His hair had been styled into the usual spiky hair Izuku had been used to see-- he knew Katsuki would rather die than let anyone (except for Eijiro) touch his hair.
Izuku smiled to himself as he fully opened the door and let himself in before he walked towards Katsuki and gently put a hand over the alpha's stiff shoulders. "Kacchan,"
Katsuki tensed and flinched as soon as he snapped back to the real world that when he looked back at Izuku, the omega had to keep his gaze low and take an unconscious step. "S-sorry... was I disrupting something?"
Katsuki took a while to answer. "No, just... what are you doing here?"
Izuku slowly looked up at Katsuki. "W-well... I had to check you of course, and..." he shifted his weight from one foot to another. "As... as your best man, it's my responsibility to make sure that you're ready for your own wedding you know,"
"What the hell does that even mean?"
"I mean... you aren't getting cold feet, are you?"
That question earned Izuku a whack on the head from Katsuki. "SAYS WHO YOU DAMNED NERD?!"
"Ow..." Izuku mumbled as he rubbed the sore spot. "A-anyway... I'm here to give this to you too," he said before he handed Katsuki the jewelry box he was holding the whole time.
"What the hell is this?" Katsuki snapped as he snatched the box and opened it-- his eyes widening and his facial expression softened.
"I-it's from Kirishima-kun of course," Izuku said. "Kaminari-kun's probably giving your gift to him now as we speak,"
Katsuki stared back at the gift. It was a normal thing that a couple who would soon be wed buy gifts for their future partners that usually symbolizes their love-- as for Katsuki and Eijiro, their love is represented by a necktie which was what both the blonde alpha and the red-haired omega gave each other on the day of their wedding.
Katsuki picked a cream-colored necktie to give to Eijiro as not only would it go great with the red-haired omega's black suit, but it was also Eijiro's favorite color as it had the same shade as Katsuki's hair. Eijiro, however, picked a gradient red necktie that resembled both Eijiro and Katsuki's eyes.
Along with the necktie given to Katsuki was a note from Eijiro himself and the blonde alpha didn't hesitate to read it.
Katsuki,
Like the bond we have as a mated pair of Alpha and Omega, let this gift and our love bond us-- not only for the rest of our lives but forever and ever...Katsuki caressed the soft fabric with a smile and Izuku watched his childhood friend with pure happiness-- as children, Izuku had always admired Katsuki not only as an alpha but as a friend and brother-figure that stood by his side and protected him. Finding out that Katsuki had picked him to be his best man for his and Eijiro's wedding had Izuku feeling more than happy as he never thought the blonde alpha acknowledged him as someone that special to play a huge part at an occasion as grand as this.
