Izuku's eyes squinted as sunlight managed to pass through the curtains in their bedroom that woke him up. Rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, Izuku sat up and stretched his arms before sighing. It was a Saturday today but despite it being a weekend, he knew Shoto had gone off to work especially since they have clients to attend to.

The omega frowned a bit as he remembered how they had argued the other night and haven't had a decent conversation about clearing it up. Shoto was always busy with work-- leaving before the sun rises and coming home after it sets down. At first, Izuku was a bit sad but he did try his best to understand the situation as he knew how hard his work was. But his patience and understanding were getting thin, especially with the wedding planning going on.

Sighing, he looked over to his bedside table to check the notes that he wrote before he went to bed-- only to find them gone.

"That's weird," Izuku mumbled to himself as he got out of bed and tried to look for his notes around their room. He could've sworn he placed it over his bedside table before he went to bed so he had no idea where could the notes be.

"Where is it?" Izuku mumbled to himself as he got out of their bedroom and stopped dead at his tracks when the aroma of cooked bacon hit his nostrils.

Confused and a bit of alerted that someone other than him was inside their unit, Izuku took a turn at the kitchen and froze to a stop to see Shoto cooking breakfast-- wearing Izuku's apron.

Shoto caught a glimpse of Izuku and turned to see his mate looking up at him in both shock and confusion. "G-good morning," he greeted as he turned the heat down to not burn the bacon. "I made breakfast, um... would you like me to fix you up with some milk while you wait?"

Izuku glanced at the clock by the wall and saw that it was already nine in the morning-- Shoto was supposed to be at work by seven. "You... aren't you late for work?" he asked.

The alpha looked at the clock before looking back at his mate. "I... uh... I took your advice and filed for a vacation leave," he said with a smile before he got some notes from the counter and waved it before Izuku. "So... what do you say we eat breakfast and plan the wedding?"

Izuku looked down at his notes and saw some of Shoto's handwriting on it-- giving out comments. "But I thought you couldn't afford to take a day off?" it came out harsher than he intended, but Izuku didn't mind-- he was still upset about the alpha cutting him off like that.

Shoto bit his lip. He knew Izuku won't forgive him just because he cooked breakfast or took a five-day leave for his sake, but he was determined to woo his mate in the remaining five days that they will spend together.

Izuku sighed. "Your bacon is burning, Shoto,"

Shoto cursed as he turned the stove off and took the bacon out from the pan and into their plates-- the edges slightly burned. "S-sorry," he mumbled before turning to Izuku with a smile. "I'll fix you up with some milk while you have breakfast,"

The alpha turned back to the fridge and was about to get some fresh milk when Izuku took him by surprise by giving him a peck on his cheek before grabbing his plate and ate silently by the counter after muttering ittadakimasu.

Caressing his cheek where the sensation of the kiss remained, Shoto smiled before pouring the fresh milk on glass and fixed himself up with coffee before joining his mate for breakfast.

"Izuku-chan, so glad you could make it!" A blur of blonde engulfed Izuku in a hug as soon as the door opened for him.

Izuku squeaked at the hug but let the taller omega hug him. "T-thanks for having me, Takami-kun,"

"Anything for my brother-in-law's future wife," The older omega said with a wink as he let Izuku go before his eyes darted past the younger omega and saw Shoto. "Hoh? Aren't you a little late for work?"
