Shoto stood on the rooftop and watched the horizon slowly turn to orange as the sun started setting in. Earlier, Katsuki called him saying that he wanted to talk about something after classes but now that they were at the rooftop, the only thing that they were sharing was the awkward silence their lack of conversation was making as the usually angry and noisy blonde was silent and only stared at the school grounds from the rooftop and watched the other students leave.
"Why did you call me here?" Shoto finally asked after being fed up form the silence.
"Shitty Nerd's walking with that purple-haired asshole again," Katsuki grumbled, glaring down at Izuku who was walking with Hitoshi out of the school grounds and though they were far away, Shoto could see the greenhead smiling at the alpha.
"Look, if you aren't going to say anything to me then I'll be going on ahead," Shoto said with a frustrated sigh. "You're just wasting my time,"
"You like Deku... don't you?" Katsuki said quietly but Shoto heard him loud and clear as if he had shouted it to him.
Shoto looked at Katsuki for a long time in stunned silence before finally finding his voice. "What...?"
"Deku, you like him... don't you?" Katsuki said, ignoring the fact that Shoto's face started turning red that it was almost blending in with the scar on his face.
"W-what... what are you... What are you saying?"
Katsuki rolled his eyes. "Stop getting flustered it's gross," he grumbled. "I've seen the way you look at him, you idiot,"
"Y-You're mistaken, I--"
"Oh, am I?" Katsuki said, "Or was I just imagining how you would usually sneak glances at Deku when he's not looking, or how you'd unconsciously smile back whenever the idiot nerd gives out those stupid smiles of his, or how you'd unconsciously release your scent whenever other alphas are nearby or talking to him just so they'd back away, or how... you looked as if the sky came crashing down on you when that idiot of an omega smiled at purple-haired bastard during lunch?"
Shoto was speechless. Was he really that obvious with his feelings for Izuku that even Katsuki-- who usually doesn't care about other people's lives-- saw and felt his feelings for the omega?
"I-I..." Shoto's voice trailed off.
"You knew the real reason why Deku was gone for a few days..." Katsuki said, "When I went home and found out he had his first wave of heat at school, I rushed to his house to see if he was fine and... I smelled your scent all over him..."
Shoto looked at Katsuki and saw him clenching his fist in rage. "Are you saying I forced myself on him when he was at his most vulnerable state?"
"Oh, weren't you?"
"He called me," Shoto said through gritted teeth as he felt his anger radiate. "Asked me to help him,"
"But you did more than just that," Katsuki said and Shoto was taken aback.
"What are you--"
"You fucking rejected him," Katsuki said, "Didn't you?"
Shoto now understood why Katsuki was angry.
"You called him desperate,"
"I did not,"
"'It was just an alpha's answer to an omega's desperate call', whose line was that, you fucking asshole?" Katsuki snapped and Shoto's eyes widened. "Do you have any idea how weak and fragile Deku looked to me when he told me those words? Do you have any idea how desperate he was to end his heat then and there that he overdosed himself with heat suppressants even though he knew it won't affect him at all since that was his first heat period?"
