A Quest Begins

After the whole fiasco in the bathroom, Mirae went to the only place she knew in this whole school. She stood on the rooftop, the soft wind blowing through her hair, some of which also went in her eyes. She got irritated and tied her hair in a ponytail.

Everything from the past, which she so desperately wanted to forget came crashing down on her. All of the pain they gave her and she gave them. How in the world did she thought that everything is going to change, that all will be right once she ran away. She is no better then a person she was back then.

She promised her family she will never hurt someone again. that's the only reason why they allowed her to move in with her brother in his apartment.If Yeji is right about them, She knew those girls are going to come back on her. What if this matter went to far ahead and she again lost her mind and acted violently? What if her brother get to know about this? What if her parents get to know about it? What if they again called her a psychopath girl who will attack everyone who came in her sight? What if she had to go through all of those sessions again?

no, no, no.

She is thinking too much. Nothing like this will happen. They will forget about this and everything will remain as it is. She will at least complete her schooling and get a decent job and live as silently as she can. No one will notice her and every thing will be forgotten. Only one year, that's how long she has to wait then-

"I KNEW YOU WILL BE HERE!!!"

Mirae flinched at the sudden shout and turned her head to see Yeji standing on the doorway of the rooftop with her hands on her knees. She looked like she just ran up the whole stairs as she was taking heavy breaths. She finally straightened her positions and walked towards her and grabbed her wrist. She started dragging her towards the stairs while talking.

"You need to come with me. Haechan and others called you. They need to talk to you about what happened in the washrooms-"

On that Mirae removed her wrist from her hands and backed away a bit. She held her hands in a surrender position. "look, i know i shouldn't have done that but they suddenly came upon me and i just tried to defend myself but if i need to appologize i am ready ."

"You really don't know what you did just now" Yeji looked at her wide-eyed.

"I know! okay! that's why i am saying i will appologize to Min Jiya" Mirae said.

"you don't have to appologize you idiot! Now you don't have to say sorry to anyone in this school!" Yeji exclaimed. Mirae looked at her confused.

"Don't you remember what I told you? You just defeated Jiya, the queen, now you know what that means?" Yeji was now shouting at her.

"UM no?" and Mirae was still confused.

"That makes you the new queen!"

Mirae freezed. Queen? her? no way on earth is that possible. What are these guys high on?

"now came with me. the royals want to meet you right now. Oh my god this is SO awesome! You were so awesome back there! When i saw you standing there with Jiya and her minions on the floor, i couldn't believe my eyes!" She again started dragging her to the stairs and Mirae again removed her hand from her wrist.

"Hell to the no." Mirae pushed her aside and walked down the stairs herself. Yeji followed from behind. She turned towards their classroom and started speed walking. " Mirae you are going in wrong direction, those guys will be waiting in the cafeteria" Yeji was struggling to keep up with her but she didn't paused or slowed down for her.

"i am not going to meet them, i am going home. Nothing is happening by the way, why wasting my time here when instead i can work an hour extra at the cafe" When she walked in front on the classrooms, many students looked at her from the window. many even tried to greet her but she ignored all of them.

"What do you mean you are not going to meet them? are you crazy? What am I going to tell them when-" Yeji bumped into her back when she suddenly stopped and saw they were already in front of their classroom . Mirae turned around to face her.

"that nothing happened. you are going to tell them that nothing changed, everything is as it is. Min Jiya is still that stupid Queen so there's no need to see them. okay? okay."

"but-" Mirae didn't listen to her and went inside the classroom. Everyone stopped what they were doind and stared at her. These were the same people who didn't even glanced at her when she was introducing herself in the morning. She dashed towards her desk and picked up her bag which was full of books which she didn't open even once. Everyone was still staring at her so she ducked her head and walked out of the classroom.

Such a great day at her new school. Right?

Yeji tried to stop Mirae bit this girl was tougher that a brick. She didn't even glance onceat her and went straight out of the school. Now Yeji had a new problem but she is very experienced. It has happened many times when someone gave her address to all the problems in the world. She can handle it. Just don't panic. Take a deep breath and tell them that Mirae doesn't want to meet them. simple.

She stood in front of the Dreamies and told them everything what Mirae said as it is. Like literally. And she saw different response from everyone. Haechan looked furious. Renjun laughed in his face . Jaemin and Jeno were amused. Chenle and Jisung were still playing with their fries which they were already doing. Why wasting the fries bro?

"Wow she is tougher than she looks" Haechan said. "i know right?" Yeji said under her breath but renjun snorted. Looks like he heard her. "you can go now we will take care of this on our own." Haechan dismissed her and she sighed in relief and went out of the cafeteria.

"She will come to school tomorrow, We will talk to her then" Haechan said and stole a fry from chenle who whined about it but stopped when saw that no one cared.

"This is new right? This never happened with the hyungs." Jeno said. Renjun also looked at him. " I don't think she will be that easy."

"I know, but what can we do?" Haechan said " We will only try one or two times and then we'll move on"
